This made me hesitant initially. This color scheme is perfect to me. It must not be too bright or muted. The colors are very soft and southwestern in style. The two twin mattresses were perfect for my intended use as "daybeds" since they fit nicely on each other. Nice colors on the daybed set. I like the set very much. A sham cover just doesn't do it for me. In the rest of the set, there are ruffles on the edge, while this one has a modern feel. Compared to the rest of the set, it seems strange. It would have been nice if all three matched, and I would have bought one if it were The set has been in my collection for a little more than a month now. The fabric on the front of the bed skirt has separated from the fabric on the back. No one else has sat on the day bed except me and the bed skirt has started to fall apart. I won't be getting another cover since I had my last for over 20 years. There is still a lot of sewing to do. That doesn't sit well with me.
I really do like this set, though the color is much less vibrant than the photos show. It is not as important to choose a color on some products, but the color of the bed sets a mood for an entire room and it is at least 30% lighter than shown (and its magenta tone is reduced). It would be best if the retailer took another picture or corrected the color.
A great set. I really like it. This is a true color reproduction of the photo, reminds me of old hippie Indian bedspreads, and the fabric is good.
But I love the look and think I will get my $60's worth out of this set. I will post some photos showing that the stitching is not very good so I'm not sure how many washings I can get from it. My bad, but I realize I never reviewed it, but I can now say that it is a great purchase. The daybed has withstood the abuse from dogs and cats which sit on it constantly, and it has endured a great deal of washing and puncture damage.
Although the photo shows a cheerful, multicolored stripe pattern in reality it is a very dingy, depressing sort of stripe–not what I was hoping for considering its price. I returned it and received a full refund.
