In the beginning, I was unsure whether the king size would cover the sides of our bed and was concerned about its quality. Thanks for your help! Although I always wake up warm and toasty when I crawl into this duvet, it feels cold at first. This is why I believe in it! For the past week, I have been using the item (inside a duvet cover) and it has not shed. It is as fluffy as ever. I purchased 3 down in the past and was very disappointed with the results. As a child, I grew up with down blankets that were twice as thick and twice as warm as they are today. Today's down is 1/3 as thick as it used to be. It was always thin and cold when I bought prior to this. There was a lot more weight to this product, as well as a lot more heat.
