Buying this comforter for my son was the best decision I made. It was no longer recommended that he use an old down sheet that was quite heavy and cumbersome for him to manage. I am amazed by how light this comforter is in comparison to goose down and that it is filled with alternative filling that is so much more pleasant to use than I ever imagined. Just like down, it shifts and moves, and it can be fluffed up as well. Besides being really hot, it's also quite humid. The comforter he is using is so much better for him than what I used to use. I was a down purist before, but this one has impressed me. how it has ties at the corners, but my old cover didn't have them, so it won't shift around in the cover when the duvet is inserted within. It was a pain to have to fix that every day. He has also found this blanket to be a lot easier to keep on during the night because of its light weight. It is important to keep him covered at night because he has a tendency to run cold. Using it has made him feel warm at night and has made him happy.
