Update- I had to return it because it had become disassembled. —- For the size of the item, I believe it is quite costly. It's far from plush. Extremely slim. To be honest, I'd suggest picking something else.
The cushion's vacuum sealing isn't supposed to deform it, but because of how the seller packaged it, the cushion lost its shape and never fully inflated, and one of the buttons is about to come loose. There are other similar pillows available on Amazon from other sellers that are of much higher quality than these.
This pillow is not at all what it appears to be in the photo! I arrive vacuum-sealed into oblivion. It's a pancake-like poly fill that's super cheap. Not at all supportive, and only half as thick as shown in the photo. The pleats were incomplete and the center buttons were lopsided. Don't waste your time; instead, spend your money on the real thing. This is sweatshop dreck, and whoever is selling these should be ashamed of the deceptive photo.
I expected it to puff up once it was removed from the packaging, but it's wrinkled and empty. I assumed it was velvet as well, but I was mistaken.
The interior stuffing was never as full as the pictures show, and the pillow is more square than round. It appears to be a round pillowcase containing a square pillow. This isn't exactly what I was looking for, but it's nice and soft.
Not quite up to par with the competition. I purchased two pillows that were very similar. Strangely, all of the sellers use one of two photo sets, so good luck! The pillow from the other seller was much nicer and was a couple dollars less! So I return it and go back to them to purchase more colors.
The pillow was vacuum sealed when it arrived! So I removed all of the plastic and left it in the sun for two days as directed. I felt it wasn't back to its normal shape and size after two days, so I tossed it in the dryer for ten minutes, and it was perfect! Nice and fluffy, and I loved the design of the pillow. A pillow that is the polar opposite of a plain one!.
