Questions & Answers

With the corner tabs on this insert, what kind of duet cover will work? How do corner tabs get attached to the corners of a cover?

Without sewing fabric ties on both the comforter and the duvet, I'm not sure how these work. I discovered the ideal solution for any duvet, and it prevents the comforter from slipping, tearing, shifting, or requiring sewing! These clear hard plastic circles (duplicates) were discovered by me. one snaps into the other) to keep the corners in place without causing any issues. They were my first choice for a medium-sized project. An antique lace duvet and a light weight comforter (not this one). With no visible damage, it held up beautifully and invisibly. Simply place the larger circle on the top of the tab and the smaller circle on the outside bottom of the duvet cover and snap them together with the corner tabs. Voila! I'm not sure what the name was, but it was something along the lines of Bed,Bath. There are four levels in Beyond. a ten-dollar pack $12. Tell them you're looking for clear plastic comforter/duvet cover corner holders and that's all you have to say. They also last a long time and are simple to take apart for cleaning or changing styles.

Is it necessary to wash this before use?

Yes! Before using your bedding, make sure it's clean. It's possible that your comforter has been sitting in a warehouse for a year before it reaches you. It could also arrive by ship from another country. There could be bedbugs, mites, or dust in the room. The bedding has dirt on it. As a result, washing your bedding before putting it on your bed is always a good idea. br>Instructions on how to care for the item can be found on the tag. br>I've found that washing comforters in cold water keeps them the best. Use a light detergent and run the delicate or bedding cycle. Fabric softener can be used on some fabrics. Use a small amount of Fabric Softener if you choose to use it. Your comforter may become stained if you use too much softener. the fabric will be destroyed br>Before I put the comforter in the dryer, I always fold it up. As a result, the comforter will not snag on anything. Rips or stretches br>Preheat the oven to low heat and dry it. It could take a little longer for it to dry. However, depending on the fabric, too much heat may cause your comforter to melt.

Is it hot when you sleep? Is it a substantial amount of weight?

This isn't a bulky blanket - It's very light in comparison to my old down comforter. However, I find it to be extremely hot while sleeping.

Please provide dimensions for the king and oversized king beds. ?

The following are the measurements of the most popular oversized comforters: The Alaskan King is 120 inches long and 132 inches wide. The Wyoming King comforter measures 108" x 96" in size. 104 inches by 100 inches is the size of the Texas King. Oversized comforters, on the other hand, are available in a variety of sizes.

Marketing/description that is deceptive - Although it is washable, it is not truly washable
3/5

It was advertised as washable, so I bought it. However, when I received it, the care instructions almost immediately stated that it should not be washed at home (see photo). I've got a relatively new, front-facing business. They should be able to handle the blanket if you load the washer and dryer. But I despise it when businesses are dishonest. This blanket appears to be machine washable in the same manner as a cashmere sweater. You are free to do it if you so desire, but you should not.

THE BEST LIGHTWEIGHT COMFORTER IN THE WORLD
5/5

That's exactly what I needed! Because I live in Miami, I've always been on the lookout for bedding that doesn't absorb a lot of heat, if any at all. I've tried a lot of things in the past, but THIS IS THE ONE. It's a light-weight design. Weighty and ideal for use as a duvet filling. It's not puffy or thick, and it lays flat. I recently purchased all linen bedding, and this comforter was clearly designed to be used with a duvet. The inside corners of my linen duvet have strings, and THIS COMFORTER has little loops on the corners, allowing it to be tied to the duvet and not slide around. Genius! Maybe it's because I'm new to the bedding world and didn't notice it in the description, but it looks like it was designed specifically for the duvet. (By the way, if you live in a hot climate or simply have a high body temperature and need the right bedding, Primary Goods bedding is an all linen bedding set that literally does not trap heat in any way. ) Linen that is soft and breathable, allowing you to sleep soundly. Www. primarygoods is a website dedicated to primary goods. com . Later on, you'll be grateful. Needless to say, it's the only comforter/duvet insert I'd ever recommend to someone looking for something light, not too puffy or bulky, but still warm.

Constructed in a shoddy manner
3/5

Unfortunately, I would not advise anyone to use this product. When I received the Quilted Comforter, I immediately noticed the product's poor quality. The sewing was sloppy, and the comforter had severe thread bunching in several places. The blanket ripped because some of the thread bunching areas were not sewn all the way through. I took photos of the product with the intention of returning it, but I bought it for a family member who was moving in, and they had already arrived and needed bedding that day, so I had no choice but to use it. I've ordered more Parachute bedding in the hopes that it will be more durable and last longer. br>br>I will say that the chocolate brown and sand color combination was lovely, and the down fluff inside the blanket was extremely comfortable. I'm disappointed because I've always wanted to try LinenSpa and this product was not up to par.

Comforter is huge and fluffy! UPDATE (after a few years): This blanket is extremely hot to the touch
3/5

Because it was so fluffy and toasty, and I lived in an old, drafty apartment, I loved it for the first year I had it. But after a while, sleeping under it became unbearably hot for me. I'd wake up drenched in sweat from sleeping under it. This is something I'd recommend if you sleep with the air conditioner on or if you live in a particularly cold climate, but not as a year-round comforter. It works well when the temperature is in the low 50s or lower, but I can't use it when the temperature rises above that. I believe I got my money's worth because we used it for a couple of years. However, if you're like me and get hot at night, opt for a lighter option. This is the ONLY comforter I've ever had that covers my entire Cal King bed, and I don't have to fight with my boyfriend for covers at night. br>br>I spent wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy It's incredibly soft and warm. My only regret is that I didn't get it in a different color, but I'll look for a duvet cover in this size. br>br>EDIT: I removed a star from the top of my head. I've had this comforter for about 5 months, and one of the seams has begun to unravel. I don't have a duvet cover, so that might help, but it's a bummer that it's falling apart so quickly.

After a trip to the laundromat, there was no need for professional cleaning; it was still beautiful and fluffy
5/5

This comforter is one of my favorites. It's been soft, fluffy, and warm (but not too warm) for a couple of months now. My cat decided to cough up a hairball on my beautiful white, soft, fluffy comforter, which was still completely unprotected because the duvet cover I intended to buy for is still a project I haven't finished. It's br>br>it's br>it's br>it's br>it' To tide me over until I could get to the laundromat, I used only cool, damp paper towels to clean it. I took it out today to put it in one of the larger front-loading containers. loaders. I was nervous because it was the first time I'd washed it. That "duvet cover" I'm working on was once a BB comforter, which was quite expensive. I ripped out all of the filling and only kept the decorated cover because the filling had become clumpy and bad from washing. This comforter, on the other hand, did not clump. It was even softer and fluffier than before after a single wash cycle and a trip to the dryer, with no clumps. There was also no sign of a stain, which leads me to believe that this material is also easy to clean. I took it to the laundromat for less than $5 and didn't have to pay for professional cleaning.

Take some risks
3/5

LinenSpa is the last place I'll ever order from. I placed an order for a king-size duvet. I received it in a production-sealed condition. When the edge seam was opened, it revealed a 2 inch hole. I was able to complete a transaction. It's not an issue. Order for replacements was received. Everything was fine until my husband decided to use it on the guest bed instead of ours, necessitating the purchase of a new one for ours. A second order has been placed. Today I received my package. I knew right away, without even opening the zipped bag, that the enclosed duvet was a previous return due to the way it was packaged, as I had already received two production sealed duvets. I opened it, took it out, and saw that it had been urinated on as well as heavily used. Big yellow urine stains all over the place (imagine a rabbit, puppy, or cat). It's beyond me how a company could think that repackaging a biologically damaged bed product and trying to sell it to a new customer would be acceptable. It's absolutely revolting!.

Fluffy fluff is a word that comes to mind when thinking of fluffy fluf It has a lot of fluffiness to it
5/5

I tossed it in the dryer with some dryer sheets as soon as I got it, and it came out fluffier than it had been. I tossed it on my bed, and my dog jumped up on it right away, and hasn't left since. It's something he enjoys, and it's something I enjoy as well.
