I know that doesn't make sense, but you'll see what I mean if you purchase it! The color was exactly what I was looking for, and the shams are cushioned and incredibly soft! I washed and dried it before putting it on my bed, and it came out great. I tumble dried it, but I can't express how much I love this comforter! Order it; it makes me feel like I'm sleeping in clouds!!.

Despite having a queen-sized bed, I'm glad I went with the king size. That's exactly what I was hoping for.

I purchased the queen size, which is more like an oversized queen than a standard queen, which is a good thing. The colors are definitely darker than in the picture, but I'm not disappointed because I bought it for the pictures. I washed it after letting it air out for about two hours after receiving it. It was easy to clean and dry. It's a very nice lightweight but warm comforter that wasn't too heavy for sleeping. Oh, and it's incredibly plush!.

I waited a week to open it because I assumed I'd have to go to the laundromat to fluff it in a dryer after opening it, but I simply opened the vacuum sealed bag and it puffed up enough on its own to satisfy me. The fabric is beautiful; Soft but not slick, and not as grabby as some microfibers, which make it difficult to move into place. Unlike some other reviewers, I believe the size is ideal, with a full box and some overhang on each side; it would probably be at the bottom as well, but I like to pull my covers up extra high. It still provides more coverage than the comforter I'm replacing on all sides. The weight appears to be ideal as well. I'm really looking forward to sleeping in it tonight. In terms of color (as seen in my photos), I'd say it's a lot less purplish in person than it appears in the seller's photos, but I still like it. I was hoping for a purplish color, but I'm content with a more neutral look. I used lavender flannel sheets and a couple of throw pillows to show how purple shades work well together. I haven't yet used the shams. They're light gray on the show side and dark gray on the insert side. UPDATE/EDIT: They're now light gray on the show side and dark gray on the insert side. Actually, I discovered a stitching flaw/broken stitches right after I submitted my review a few days ago. It was in a prominent location, and I'm afraid that if I try to fix it or have someone else fix it, it won't turn out properly. More importantly, I'm concerned that when it comes time to wash it, it will unravel even more. So, once I've re-boxed it, I intend to return it for a refund. I'm hoping for a perfect one, because everything else about it is fantastic. Another image of the flaw has been added. Oh & For the record, I only delayed additional opening for about a week, not a week, but I still have time to return or exchange it. Because of the stitching flaw, I deducted one star from my original five-star rating. br>Updated on February 26th, 2019: The replacement item has no flaws. Above you'll find two new photos. In the store, the chenille pillows at my local Aldi looked silver/lavender to me. Tag stated that they are grey in color. Although I believe this comforter color is truly neutral, if you are drawn to it because it appears purplish in the seller's photos, you should purchase it. When you combine it with purple accents, it becomes even more purple. If you don't want purple, I think you'll be happy with the results if you shift your accent colors to the opposite end of the spectrum. I honestly believe I would buy this in any color because it has such a luxurious feel to it. The perfect weight and coziness, warm but not overly so. I'm guessing it'll be good for the entire season, and it'll be especially nice in the summer: I'm looking forward to going to bed!!.

This comforter set has made me extremely happy. For my queen-size bed, I purchased a king-size mattress. Reversible reversible reversible reversible reversible reversible reversible Warm but not too heavy. Love it.

This comforter has a special place in my heart. br>Even the sham pillow cases are fantastic; they are padded on the inside and are heavenly; I would have paid $80 for this, but I got it for $57. You will not be disappointed in the least.

This quilt is simply fantastic. Yes, that is correct. This quilt works too well even in the dead of winter, when the central heat is turned WAY down at night (I prefer sleeping in a cold room). I'm going to turn it off in less than an hour because it's making me sweat and I'm too hot. And that's with no other sheets or blankets on top of the quilt! It's like slapping a warm emergency blanket over your head. I believe it is the insulation material inside the quilt. It simply does not breathe and traps 100% of your body heat and moisture. This quilt has also been used inside a tent on winter camping trips. In less than an hour, we were up and running. As a result, kudos to the producer. The mission has been completed. They created a quilt that is certain to keep you warm. However, I find that it performs its function far too well.
