I rarely write reviews, but after only one night's sleep, I couldn't wait to get here and start writing! I had the MOST COMFORTABLE SLEEP OF MY LIFE thanks to this bad boy. It's both cool and warm at the same time, and it's incredibly fluffy while also being extremely light. Seriously, this is the most luxurious comforter I've ever owned. It fluffed up significantly more after washing than it did when I first opened it. All you need to know is to insert the cliché "sleeping on a cloud" here. Buy it! br>br>(PS I paid for this myself; the company did not bribe me in any way for this review. ) I felt compelled to mention it because businesses have been doing it a lot lately. ).
This comforter truly is a work of art. It's nothing more than a fluffy cloud. It reminds me of the German hotel comforters I used to sleep with. It's far superior to the hotel comforters I've experienced in the United States. I've been using a duvet cover and am afraid to wash it, but when I do, I'll try to remember to update you on how it's holding up. As it stands now, it is unquestionably of high quality. I told my boyfriend that we might need to order a backup and keep it somewhere safe in case this one fails!.
I guess I didn't get what the other reviewers did, or even what the pictures showed. What I have is incredibly frail. dissatisfying My daughter requested a fluffy one similar to the one I have, which was given to me as a gift from Overstock. This appeared to be the same. br>I should've just asked for the information and told them to look it up on the other site because it's not even close. br>It's more of a blanket, and it should have been half the price; I'm sick of being ripped off by Amazon products, and I may have to shop elsewhere.
I'll be honest with you - I'm not a big fan of you. I'm a picky person, so don't think I'm blowing smoke up your backside when I say I really like this cover. br>br>To begin, the color scheme is fantastic. It matches the dark grey color I ordered perfectly, and it complements the other darker grey/lighter grey/grey/blue color scheme we have in our bedroom. br>br>The weight of this is undeniable, and it does keep you warm at night, but it's not so heavy that it's uncomfortable, and it's not so hot that you can't bear it. br>br>The clean-up is something I'm very pleased with. ability. It's lighter weight but still warm, and it's small enough to fit in our washing machine. I've been washing it every other week for about a month and a half now, and the color has stayed true, I'm not seeing much wear, and the cat and dog hair has come off beautifully. In terms of durability, I'd say it's been above average so far. br>br>I believe there is only one major improvement that could have been made - It would have been fantastic if they had included a couple of matching king-sized pillow cases with the cover. Grey is a difficult color to match, and having mismatched grey colors is a problem when you have things stacked on top of each other. br>br>However, while the price isn't outrageous (and, in my opinion, is actually quite good), this isn't exactly what you'd want if you're planning on surviving an Alaskan winter. This isn't the jacket for you if you're looking for something extremely warm. Because this isn't us, we're perfectly content with it - The bottom line is that it looks good, isn't prohibitively expensive, isn't overly bulky, and provides adequate warmth when required.
This one appeared to tick all the boxes, and it was delivered today. I dried it on low heat for about 10 minutes before squishing it to make it fluffier. You'll want to wrap yourself in it because it's so smooth and soft. I stuffed it into my king-size duvet and it was perfect. I'm currently laying beneath it, and it appears to be quite warm. It won't be too hot, I hope. However, it feels thick, fluffy, and luxurious, and I can't wait to get into bed tonight. The boxes in the box stitching are smaller than advertised, and the workmanship appears to be of excellent quality. I don't detect any strange odors, so I believe this was an excellent purchase. The first photo shows our duvet, which is currently empty. The comforter is shown in the second photo. The comforter inside the duvet is shown in the third photo. br>br>***It's been about a week since we started using it. It's hot, almost too hot, but we have microfiber sheets to keep us warm right now. I'm hoping that once we switch to our cotton sheets, the temperature will be just right. Because we keep our house at 72 degrees at night, it's possible that's why it's so hot. We live in Utah, where the nighttime temperature drops to the teens. I'm not sure if we'll be able to use this on summer nights, but we'll see.
I paid full price for this. I have a king-size bed in my spare room, but I purchased a queen-size bed just to try it out on the main bed. br>When I first opened it, I wasn't impressed; it felt thin and small. br>I threw it in the dryer after washing it. br>I took it straight from the dryer to the queen bed, where it fit perfectly, and it was warm that night when I went to sleep with it. br>It's now on the full-length version. I have a queen-size bed in the spare room and plan to buy another for the main bedroom. br>This comforter has really impressed me, and I especially like how affordable it is. br>Earlier this summer, I spent $130 at the Jc Penny Home Store on one that will be bagged up when the new one arrives. The only reason it isn't on the queen bed right now is because the colors don't match, but I suppose that doesn't really matter, does it?.
It's ideal--not down, but rather man--in every way. However, there is nothing negative to say about this quilt; it is well-made, machine washable, durable (but not bleach-resistant), and attractive. Also, if spots do appear (which they always do), they easily lift off the surface. I think it's a great value for the money, and I'd recommend it for dorms or everyday use at home. I can't say enough good things about it. Thank you for the opportunity, and I hope this will be of assistance to someone. PS- On chilly nights, it's also very comfortable and warm.
