It's exactly how it looks on the website. I was surprised by how soft it was, and it's perfect for the weather now that summer is here. It's a hit with my cat as well! This is something I would strongly advise others to do.
When it arrived, it was compressed and flat, just as expected. When we get new sheets or blankets, we always wash them right away, and this time was no different. We washed it in hot water on the delicate cycle in the washer, along with the grey crosshatch patterned Amazon microfiber 16" inch deep sheets (which we also love!). I took the comforter out of the washer and hung it up to air dry for 15 to 20 minutes after the load was finished. Meanwhile, I dried the new set of amazon sheets on high heat with the Sanitize setting (I always sanitize my sheets because it's a setting on my dryer that uses intense heat to kill off anything that might be on the sheets because you never know). I removed the dried sheets from the dryer and let it cool down for five minutes after letting them dry and "sanitize" for 15 minutes. I read a lot of reviews saying that drying the comforter on high heat can cause problems, so I decided to air it out and dry it on the low heat Delicate setting. I let it dry for 20 minutes before removing it and shaking it to reveal any areas that had not dried. Before it's finished, I'll put the cover back on for another 20 minutes. It had been fluffed up and dried! It has a good density and fluffiness without being too hot. By all accounts, this is a lovely bed set that complements the grey crosshatch pattern of the Amazon sheet set I mentioned earlier. I have nothing but positive things to say about it.
It's the most luxurious comforter I've ever owned. It's big enough to drape over both sides of the bed, which is rare. I 100% strongly recommend it to everyone!.
This set has a lovely color that isn't too feminine and is appropriate for a married couple. It's super soft and light, but it might be a little too thick for hotter nights. Despite the fact that the appearance and softness drew us in, the quality of the fabric deteriorated drastically after washing. First, the instructions state that drying the comforter in the dryer or outside in the sun will help it regain its fluff. So I hung it to dry on low heat until it was fluffy. However, I'm one of those people who washes EVERYTHING before putting it on my bed. I followed the cleaning instructions on the tag exactly to make sure there would be no problems, as I'd had some with previous purchases. Unfortunately, the comforter bunched up in some places (mostly in the corners, but also in other random places), making it appear uneven when laid out. After only one wash, this was the result. When I moved the set from the washer to the dryer, I noticed the unevenness and hoped that the dryer would assist in re-balancing the set. fluffing. That wasn't the case at all. While the fabric was beautiful before being washed and dried, the final result was not.
I just received the blanket. br>I washed and dried my clothes before putting them to bed. br>It appears to be quite inexpensive. br>Same quality as Walmart's bed in a bag. br>I don't think it was worth the nearly $70 price tag. br>In addition, I purchased the California king for my king bed (to make it larger) and it barely fits. br>The "dark green" I received is a blueish grey color. br>I am dissatisfied with my purchase.
In person, the brushed gradient pattern looks a lot better! My only criticism of the appearance is how wrinkled it is and how wrinkles cannot be removed by drying it on a high heat setting. In fact, it's best to avoid using any heat or to use it on the lowest setting. ) However, my bed isn't built to impress. Because I spend a lot of time in bed due to health issues, comfort is a top priority for me. To make matters more difficult, I have a condition that causes my skin to be extremely sensitive, to the point where even the tiniest of objects can cause pain, itchiness, or discomfort. I have dry skin as well, and I despise fabrics that cling to your hand, such as microfiber rags. This is more along the lines of a high-quality soft bamboo fabric. So, if you have Fibromyalgia, ME/CFS, Tactile Allodynia, or other nerve/neuro/derm-sensitive conditions, give this one a try! I adored it so much that my mother got me a second one for Christmas! I wish this comforter was thicker and warmer. I'd go out and buy it right away! This is definitely on the lighter side, but it's surprisingly warm! Did I say it's warm and inviting? I credit the soft, down-alternative fill, as well as the soft exterior fabric and excellent design, for this. LOVE IT! br>(We apologize for the poor quality of the video. ) When I was looking for a comforter, I just wanted to show the things about myself about which I had the most questions. I attempted to depict depth at its thinnest, when pinched, and at its coziest, as well as the tag. I understand that some people are concerned about the source, but rest assured that this is a high-quality company and product that comes in its own customized, printed box and is shrink wrapped to keep it clean and protected. In terms of the dog photos, I'm pretty sure this is the last time I make fun of people who post photos of their dogs alongside their review photos. I just thought it was relevant in this case. My beastie is almost as attached to it as I am. She's diabetic, nearly blind, and her nails are in quarantine! (Vets were closed to anything non-vet related. ) as soon as possible). The photos are also intended to show the blanket in various lighting conditions. br>br>As a side note- When I first got it, there were some loose threads and the fabric became stuck together in the dryer because my lowest dryer setting was too hot for it. The company was quick to respond to my complaint and promptly refunded and replaced it! They have fantastic customer service!.
