That brand claimed 100% cotton on the inside but there was a layer of polyfill inside. I ordered this blanket to see if it was truly 100% cotton as they claimed and it is It is extremely relaxing. For my "half" of a king-size bed, I ordered the 48"x78" size. It's a queen-size bed that's ideal for a single person. It extends from my chest to my toes and is wide enough to allow me to roll side to side in the middle of the night without slipping out from under it. Is there an added benefit? It's just the right weight to keep my husband from stealing my covers in the middle of the night!.

In 2019, I wanted to do something unique for the team. So, a few weeks ago, I was walking through Costco and noticed a weighted blanket for sale. Although I did not purchase it, the concept of weighted blankets lingered in my mind for the next two weeks. Then it hit me: this is what I'm supposed to be doing. This year's Christmas gift for my team would be weight blankets! They're interesting, one-of-a-kind, useful, unexpected, and something they could keep for a long time. br>br>So I went to Amazon and started looking for affordable, well-reviewed weighted blankets. That's when the Weighted Idea Weighted Blanket caught my attention. They were available in a variety of colors and sizes, but the 60X80 size was the most popular. The dark gray, 15-pound blanket ($43) was the most cost-effective. 99 each). So I bought five of them, paid an extra $5 for gift wrapping, and sent them off via Prime two-day shipping. The quality of the stitching is excellent. There aren't any beads that are loose. There are no strange odors. Cotton appears to be a long-lasting material. And while the gray color is nice and masculine, the white version with yellow flowers is very pretty, and my wife loves it. So far, I wholeheartedly recommend this blanket. I'm not sure why someone would pay $150-$200 for a blanket that costs $43 ($63 for my wife's). A weighted blanket will set you back $200. Some people, I suppose, would prefer a plush or fuzzy blanket, which this one isn't. Is a $100 or more fuzzy weighted blanket, on the other hand, worth it? That is entirely your decision. Because I am a light sleeper, I appreciate the lack of noise. I gave it to my husband as a test one evening without telling him what it was, and it was the first time his restless legs had remained still for an entire night. We'll get him his own blanket because I agree that the blanket should only be used by one person at a time! I also liked how it helped me cope with the intense pain I get from migraine headaches. Despite the fact that I was still in pain, I was soothed by the blanket, which I usually dislike because I become overly sensitive to even the air. I'll be buying a few for family members who have sleep problems, anxiety, or just need to improve their sleep hygiene. It's a "woobie," as I like to call it.
