I'm 5' 2" and weigh about the same as you do. I got the 20 pound in 60" x 80" and it's just right for me, neither too light nor too heavy. To add more weight, I will sometimes overlap a corner over my feet or waist. It's as if you've been hugged or cuddled. 20 pounds may be too much for you if you don't like long hugs or being a little spoon all night.

I purchased this for my wife's birthday, but I chose a weight that was higher than the recommended. This blanket is absolutely wonderful! Advantages: br>br>
- My wife enjoys it and reports that she sleeps better as a result, which has improved her quality of life. br>- This is the only blanket that 100% will shut up my wife s neurotic freaking Chihuahua, improving his chances at having a quality life.
- My wife no longer steals the comforter, so I get a better night's sleep and don't have to abandon her.
- It puts my wife to sleep so well that she doesn't mind if the house is a little warm, so she lowers the thermostat, as you Dads know!
- She once put it on me when I was hungover from drinking far too much with my brother, and it allowed me to sink into a deep coma while my body tried to figure out what had happened and why I had done such a thing. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product.
- Cleaning and jerking this thing overhead so I can backload it and carry it wherever she wants, downstairs, upstairs, or to the car for vacation. br>br>Men, the bottom line is this: If you want to save your marriage and your sanity, get this for your wife.

I suppose I'll have to deal with non-existent customer service. br>br>While comfortable and, I suppose, functional, this blanket only lasted me a little more than a month. The material that gives the blanket its weight became loose and shifted to one side. It's starting to clump together. It would go to the side that was down if I picked it up. gravity. br>br>I assumed I had received a lemon, and that this was the source of my problem. I've called and left voice mail messages for the company, as well as emailed them, but I've never received a response. They are supposed to 100% offer a satisfactory guarantee- However, this is clearly not the case. br>br>I believe in giving people the benefit of the doubt, and that just because something didn't work out doesn't mean it's a bad product - Mistakes and anomalies do occur - However, there is a problem when a company charges $125 for a blanket that only lasts a month and no one responds to any correspondence. And I would caution others against squandering their funds.
My 17-year-old son was diagnosed with sensory processing issues, so I bought him this blanket (15-pound version) on a whim. When it arrived, it was neatly packaged and felt HEAVY; I was concerned that I had purchased a blanket that was too heavy, but I brought it up to him. br>br>He put the duvet cover on and slept with it overnight; when I saw him the next day, he was alert and rested; I inquired as to how he liked it, and he BEAMED, he loved it. He got antsy and pulled up the blanket, which instantly calmed him down, he said. The soft- The duvet's silky feel was ideal for him; he adores blankets with that texture. br>br>Since then, I've noticed he's more engaged, and he's in a better, happier mood overall, and things that used to stress him out don't seem to bother him as much anymore (as far as I can tell). My only regret is that I didn't discover this product sooner.
I had my eye on a Gravity Blanket for a couple of years and had always determined that it was too expensive, so I went on a search of other blankets, trying to find a balance of quality and ability to fulfill my need, and I ended up here. For the past ten days, I've been using this blanket. br>The blanket is of good quality, with a soft, long-lasting mink cover. The ties on the inside of the blanket have slipped a couple of times, but it's a minor annoyance to fix. In general, the blanket appears to be well-made and durable. br>However, after three nights, I noticed the beads had started to run down the sides of the blankets. They were almost exclusively accumulating in the corners or off towards my feet after 5 days (raising knees in bed causes them to trickle down). Every night before bed, I have to beat the blanket out, and we're talking about a 20 pound blanket. The beds will not stay put, and I will not be able to achieve an even weight as it arrived by using brute force. When I read the reviews, I thought to myself, "It can't be that bad, and this is a good price," when in reality, if I had known what I was getting myself into, I would have spent the extra money on a blanket with stitched squares to keep the beads in place. br>It would be ideal for lounging with the kids. I like it, but it isn't performing the function for which I purchased it.
It's a thick, heavy-weighted blanket that's nice and soft. Is it effective in reducing my anxiety? Does it make a difference in how much I toss and turn at night? My sheets do stay in place with the help of this. It's a generously sized blanket for a single person. It's a better nap blanket than an 8-hour one in my opinion. The weight in the blanket moves around, which is why I'm saying this. It would be ten times better if it were evenly distributed in the sowed up squares where it does not move. Some of my body parts have weight, while others do not. Which makes me even more anxious because I'm not sure why they didn't even it out.

Because of the summer heat, I'm using it without the cover and only have sheets on the bed. The blanket, on the other hand, isn't particularly warm. Despite being made in China, the Quility appears to be of high quality and was packaged well.
