It's not going to spill! It has extra stretching at the ends to prevent beads from leaking through. It also has some padding, which makes it more comfortable and keeps the beads in place so the weight is distributed evenly.

Is it true that this blanket makes you sleep better?

This blanket has a calming effect. It's a great way to unwind at the end of the day. When I'm stressed, I get the impression that my energy is becoming calmer and more contained. When I'm particularly stressed, I fold the blanket lengthwise, doubling the weight, and lay it over me for the first 15 minutes, and my muscles begin to relax, almost as if I were receiving a massage.

Is there a lot of noise coming from this blanket?

On the tag, it says "spot clean." I'd suggest getting a duvet as a precaution, but you can always take it to the dry cleaners if something goes wrong! When I opened the package, it was marked as a 20 pound queen (I ordered a twin), and it did appear to be a twin, which was confusing. It's just to let you know in case you're surprised as well. Weighted blankets are not for everyone, but they help me with RLS and anxiety. It has a warm and inviting feel to it, and it is well constructed. Because a layer of batting muffles the sound of shifting beads, it's quiet while it's being shifted around. Because it sleeps quite warmly, I find that putting it on top of my sheet with a comforter on top works best for me: when it gets too hot, I flip the comforter down while keeping the weighted blanket and sheet on. Because the edges are well finished, no beads have managed to escape thus far. Though weighted blankets aren't for everyone, it's a good idea to try out heavier blankets before investing in one.

This blanket is one of the best for the money, with extra stretching at the ends to prevent beads from seeping through. However, because of the extra padding, it will add to the warmth of the blanket, so it may not be suitable for use in the summer. I'm looking for a similar style in a slightly larger size.

I'm about 107 pounds, and I read how to figure out how much weight you need, so a 12 pound blanket is appropriate for me. I didn't feel nearly as heavy as I thought I did. I was expecting a hug. I decided to give it a week to see what would happen. It was sweltering outside, and I don't sleep well in the heat. So I was only using a sheet and a weighted blanket, and I was still extremely hot. All night long, I was waking up. Then my back began to hurt - My back and shoulders are both aching. Nothing made sense, so I reasoned that I must be the blanket's weight. I needed to take ibuprofen because the pain was getting worse every night and lasted all day. I haven't had any pain since I stopped using it, and I can sleep through the night without sweating. I responded by returning it.

I've tried other weighted blankets before and had to return them because the beeds all ended up on one side of the blanket. The tabs for attaching a duvet cover are a nice touch. This blanket is of excellent quality, and it also comes with a guarantee. If you're looking for a unique way to.

This purchase has made us very happy. My wife does not like the extra weight, so it covers more than half of our King size bed, which is ideal for me. I'd suggest a duvet because I'm still figuring out how to clean mine. We keep it on top of the other sheets, but I'm sure it'll need to be cleaned on a regular basis.
