Cotton and polyester are listed as the filling materials on the label. It's a bit of deceptive marketing. Also, the description says it's made of organic cotton, but the label says otherwise. br>This item is made in China. br>It has a good weight and is of good quality.
I've already washed it twice, and both times I washed it on low and then hung it to dry. It works well, and there are no signs of fraying on the blanket.
I am 6'2" and the 72" is too short for me; I haven't measured the blanket to see if it is 72" but I would recommend the 80 if you want some overhang on your feet and a blanket that reaches up to your neck at the very least.
The blanket has it stitched into it.

He is autistic and has a high level of functioning. I bought two 20 pounders for him because he's older. blankets; One is for college, while the other is for home. He claims that the heavier weight helps him sleep better. He told me that he wears it around his shoulders in his dorm room while studying because he needs that "pressure" from time to time to keep from becoming overwhelmed by campus life; he finds it comforting and soothing.
Glass will cut you if it breaks through the blanket! This was inexpensive, so I bought it to see if I liked the idea of a weighted blanket, which I did. The thing is, I ignored reviews that said they shattered glass, but I was cut twice on about 0. 5 inch glass shards Fortunately, I was still in my bed when it happened! I was given a refund after returning it.
The item was stained and covered in hair! The item was returned for a refund.
It was the best night's sleep I'd had in a long time. As a result, for my side of the bed, we settled on a twin. I tried another brand from Walmart, but it was a waste of time; this appears to be the best value out there, pound for pound. It appeals to me. My wife, on the other hand, prefers to sleep with someone who is more restful.
I move around a lot, twist and turn, and it can take me HOURS to fall asleep — and even then, my sleep quality isn't great. Because of the weight, I found that layering multiple blankets or pillows helped, so I decided to try this product. br>Since I started using this blanket, I've had a lot less trouble falling asleep and staying asleep until it was time to get up for work. This definitely helps with anxiety and insomnia, and it makes me feel more secure. br>It's well worth the money!.
I think it's a great idea, and I had a good night's sleep with it. But it's still leaking after three months. It comes from all stitched areas, not just a tear or a seam. I assumed it was simply because it was new and needed to settle in. I shake it, as well as the sheet beneath it, once a week outside. I've missed my deadline and can't find a way to contact the company, so it's going in the trash. For the past two years, I've had a different company's blanket on my son's bed with no leakage. I regret to inform you that I do not advise you to purchase this blanket.
This weighted blanket is a new addition to our home. This is for my mother, who has had Alzheimer's disease for a long time. She is now confined to her bed full-time, and an occupational therapist who has been assisting her with physical issues recently recommended using a weighted blanket, particularly during times when mom appears stressed. So far, she has found comfort in this weighted blanket. It hasn't been used to help her sleep at night, but it has been used during the day when she gets anxious. So far, I'm happy with the results.
It's the perfect size to fit under my king-size comforter.
