I wouldn't go higher than three inches for safety reasons. riser. If you're aiming for a score of 15, this is the route to take. 5 inches, you're looking at something made to order that won't collapse from the movement of simply getting on or off, causing injury.
I'm not sure what a platform bed looks like, but I use these on my queen-size bed frame, which has rollers on both the head and foot ends, and they work great. It elevates the bed frame and provides storage beneath the bed. I'm just not familiar with the "make up or design" of a platform bed, so please bear with me.

Pro: Now that I've had a chance to test them out on a few different beds, they appear to be able to withstand the weight. br> The wheel bed is the perfect depth for securing the casters. These are not stable; I put them in to raise my bed, but they made it so unstable that it swayed with me every time I sat in it. It gives the impression that the bed is sagging and unbalanced. This is not something I would recommend to others. My money was a waste.
My bed had to be raised three inches. They were 3 inches tall, according to the description. I put them under my bed, and it isn't 3" taller because they aren't 3". They measure 2 7/8" in diameter. The difference between 2 7/8" and 3" is significant. It's close, but not quite there, and that 1/8" makes the difference between this being extremely useful and completely useless to me. I'm not sure if they're just bowing under the weight of the bed or what, but measuring from my floor to the raised foot of my bed is very easy, and it's clearly not 3". It measures 2 7/8" in diameter. It's inexcusable for something with only one job to fail to do its job.
