The cap measures 2 3/4" x 2 3/4" on the inside. With the pad removed, the cap measures 5/8" deep. The pad has a thickness of 1/8" and compresses to a near-near-near-near-near-near When weight is applied, the result is 0. The base measures 7" x 7" and stands 5 3/4" tall.
The top of the cap's edge is not designed to support weight. Because the cap lip is 5/8" thick, a 5/8" or slightly thicker piece of wood or other sturdy material would work perfectly.
I don't think so. With my queen bed, it only lasted a few months. I also chose these because of the 9000 pound nonsense. Very let down.
Unlikely. I'm not sure why you'd want to use them only at the head of the bed because it would make the bed unbalanced.

Please don't be fooled by the 9000 pound claim. The stand may be aluminum, but the top of the stand, where the frame rests, is heavy plastic; it'll hold up for a while, but eventually it'll break! It's a tad better than the low-cost plastic version. But the end result will be the same: the first collapse occurred after a year. Best wishes to you.
This is without a doubt the best riser I've ever come across. They were used to elevate the head of my queen-sized bed. I'm 280 pounds and sleep on a queen mattress with a metal frame, box spring, and box spring. There are no issues at all, and I'm confident it won't crack and break in the middle of the night. Obviously, I've dealt with this before! It has a nice wide base that prevents it from wobbling. It's even quite appealing, and I'm grateful to this company for developing it; it was simple, cost-effective, and it works flawlessly.
I'm returning it, and I can't imagine how others aren't upset about it as well. The screws in the base had not been put together. The small screw bar must be used to turn and turn four screws FOREVER through the rubber feet that have already been inserted. Something isn't quite right here, and I've already spent over 35 minutes screwing in the 1 1/4 riser bases. They're called "bed risers" because they help you get out of bed in the morning. not a do- a chair for you!.
When the old risers on which our couch had been sitting for a few years suddenly shattered while we were entertaining guests, we wanted to make sure the replacements were of higher quality. The solution offered by iPrimio was ideal. Because most taller risers (like our old ones) are hollow on the inside, I wanted to get something more structurally sound. I found all of the solid risers I examined to be a little too low. br>br>At 5 inches, these risers are just right. 5" is more structurally sound than the old hollow risers we were replacing because it is made of better material (aluminum) and has a cross design surrounding a tube inside (visible in the product photos). The included tool must be used to attach the base of each riser, but it's only four screws, so it's a very quick process. All of this adds up to a fairly substantial package, and I'm confident our couch will last longer than the risers. br>br>A fantastic product at a fantastic price that comes highly recommended.
They're incredibly well-made. This is the first time I've ever seen a riser like this. These are also non-scratch. br>br>They're made of solid steel and are built to support a lot of weight. There's no need to be concerned about these cracking! br>The directions are straightforward. basic- Four screws are used to attach the'base' to the bottom (which is made of a strong, solid plastic). The base also includes a nice thick piece of foam/rubber that covers the entire bottom of the base. This is to prevent it from sliding around. br>Every piece of hardware that comes with it is in perfect working order--the screws fit perfectly, and everything lines up perfectly. A small 'hex tool' (screw driver) is included as well. br>They appear to have the potential to last a very long time. It was well worth the money.
My new bed was lower than my old one, and I had been using tall storage containers beneath it that I wanted to keep. These risers are extremely durable. br>br> It's simple to put together and stays put (on carpet) for a long time. Of course, now I have to rely on something to help me get in and out of bed (I have lower back and hip problems). The bed does not sway in any way. I am ecstatic. br>br>It doesn't matter to me, but the foundation is quite substantial. If this is a concern for you, read the description.
Sets for two twin beds (approximately 5 inches each); The material was extremely durable and simple to assemble. Because my twin beds were already a little higher, the extra height provided a lot more storage space, which was exactly what we needed. Two college students slept soundly in these beds, and I recently purchased two more sets for a queen Temperpedic mattress on a wood bed frame. I was concerned about the weight, and we planned to make our own risers, but we decided to put the twin stands to the test first, and they easily supported the bed's weight and kept it in place. The queen, however, required seven stands due to three extra support legs in the middle. The bed, on the other hand, will not be moving. Because all of our beds are in corners, there is no need to be concerned about safety - because even if my teenager dashed into the room and pounced on the bed, there's no way the bed could move enough to knock the stand over, and because all of the beds are on plush carpet, which also helps prevent unwanted movement that a wood floor might cause; however - Because of the rubber mat on the bottom, I don't think these would slip on a wood floor. I'm not sure why there are so many negative reviews - We believe these are long-lasting, secure, and ideal for our requirements!.
These were my favorites out of all of them. Traditional bed risers have a higher weight capacity, are made of aluminum rather than plastic, and have a smaller base than modern bed risers. plastic risers with a standard tapered design The plastic risers would have been too bulky and easily tripped over our table, which was in a nook of our kitchen. These, on the other hand, are ideal for raising the table quietly while also supporting the weight of our children climbing on it while playing (which they do). They're simple to assemble, and the non-skid bottom is ideal for use on hard surfaces. I think these are fantastic and would recommend them to anyone.
