I've never heard of a mop before. EXCELLENT when it comes to the Utopia washcloths. a cloth for cleaning br>I've used them a lot, and they've always worked well for me. When it comes to quality, you can't go wrong!
No, I wouldn't call them soft or appropriate for a toddler or sensitive skin. They're a thin, rough material that's good for exfoliating adult skin as well as scrubbing, polishing, and cleaning.
To cut down on the use of paper towels, I keep a stack in a bin next to my kitchen sink. I use them to dry my dishes, wipe my hands after they've been washed, and clean up any spills. They're small enough to only use once without causing discomfort, but thick enough to absorb a lot of moisture.
Absolutely, but if you have a sewing machine, I would recommend getting their Kitchen Bar Mops towels as well. They are 16"x19" and come in a pack of 12; quartering them and hemming the two raw edges (nothing fancy; I simply used a basic zig-zag pattern. zag stitch) yields 48 towels measuring approximately 7"x9" that are EXACTLY the right size and absorbency, and take up less space than the washcloth-sized ones, which we found to be too much fabric for many of the random household uses. We use about four per day (informal napkins, hot pads, and cleaning) and keep them in a pretty basket. Our use of paper towels has nearly vanished, as has been mentioned by others.

Some towels may be defective, such as the first towel taken from the bag, which has a large hole in it. It appears to be a looming manufacturing-related issue. This is not a promising start. This was not the case with the second towel (not that there aren't others like it buried in the stack). The ideal towel is soft and not excessively large. I purchased these towels because I don't use paper towels (and haven't in 20 years) in an effort to help the environment. The second towel does a good job of absorbing liquid and rinsing. After the first few washes, I'll provide an update. br>Another thing to keep in mind is that No, I'm not some kind of hippie who uses crystals as deodorant. I have a bachelor's degree in applied science and am aware that global warming is a reality.
Washcloths are very nice. One thing I didn't think they needed in the box was five air pillows (packing material) because there is already enough plastic on the planet! A washcloth cannot be broken.
These Utopia washcloth towels, as well as the Royal washcloths in a 24-pack, were purchased. If you're in the same boat as me and can't decide between the two, I'll do some comparisons for you. Just keep in mind that neither of these washcloths are $10 a piece. Before washing, the Royal appeared to be better sewn, but when they came out of the dryer, they had a lot of fraying areas. They also shed more lint than the Utopia cloths, but they were both ineffective in this regard. In many places, Royal cloths have tiny rust-like spots that haven't come out despite being washed with bleach. The edges of the Royal cloths shrank more than the edges of the Utopia cloths after drying, so they don't look as nice. For $. I'm pleased with the Utopia wash cloths, which cost 50 cents each. They're better than Walmart's equivalents because they're not as thick, which is what I wanted, and they still appear soft enough for sensitive skin. Every time I wash my face, I like to use a new wash cloth. So the Utopia ones are great because I don't have to worry about my expensive washcloths being ruined by frequent washing. They don't take up a lot of space in the washing machine and dry quickly. I'll almost certainly buy them again.
They last a long time, but I'm a washcloth snob. I use them for my face and body when I first purchase an order. These washcloths have a great texture for exfoliating, which is exactly what I want in a washcloth. Yes, I could spend a lot of money on silky ones. However, they will not clean my face as well as they will not remove my rough winter skin. These do! br>br>However, after a year of use, they will begin to show signs of wear, just like any other washcloth. Then I put them on my cleaning schedule. When cleaning upholstery, carpet, or clothing stains, it's critical to use white cloths to avoid transferring dyes from the cloth to the item being cleaned. These are excellent for cleaning due to their thickness and nap. And don't forget about the price.
They've been poorly stitched. They tangled and filled the dryer lint trap with a thick layer of fuzz after they were washed on their own *once*. My other towels were covered in lint from the ones that survived the first wash. They wreak havoc on everything they come in contact with.
I haven't used these towels in a long time, but they're excellent for the price. Approximately 2 So far, I've done three washes. br>Benefits - It's gentle on the skin and simple to clean. This is what I use to remove make-up from my face. That's something I've noticed when I'm getting my make-up done. I'll simply hand wash it with bath soap and water to remove the make-up. Right away, I got up. Unlike some other face towels I've purchased, I have to wash them in hot water with clorox in the washer to remove the make-up. up stain. br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product. There isn't much to say about it except that some of the edges are frayed and can be cut with scissors. There's no need to be concerned.
When I washed and dried these, there was SO MUCH LINT on them. Two times I had to empty the lint trap. Because they're already coming apart in the dryer, I don't think these will last very long. br>Also, I'm not sure if the product's name changed or I just didn't notice, but I assumed these would be gym towels but they turned out to be small washcloths. which isn't even suitable for use in a gym. When I realized this, I had already ripped the package open. It's deceiving in the way it's packaged.
We use them as a substitute for paper towels. They're not quite as soft as a standard bathroom hand towel, but they're certainly more so than shop towels and rags. The stitching around the edges appears to be of good quality, and they haven't come apart at the edges after several washes like some "value" washcloths we've bought. br>br>There aren't any real complaints, except that if you're looking for a more utilitarian or shop rag, these aren't for you. These are most likely to snag. br>br>As with any new cotton product, br>br>Also, as with any new cotton product: Even if you wash it twice or three times before using it, you can expect a lot of material to end up in the dryer's lint trap. br>br>Update from November 2017: They're still working for me! Every now and then a loose string appears, but they've held up admirably. br>Update from September 2018: The show is still going strong! Our towels have probably been washed every two weeks or so. br>Update for January 2020: I'm still content. The towels appear to be the same, but the tags are different. They're still being cut off!.
