Pakistani-made product.
Yes. It had all of the original Lacoste labels on it, as well as the signature Alligator embroidered on the towel.
I don't speak or read Spanish, but the towel is very nice and I use it on a daily basis.

These towels aren't up to par. I like towels, but these aren't up to snuff. Especially after they've been washed. The gator logo is the only thing they have going for them. Each of these towels should cost around $5. The thread count is low, they are not soft, and they are absorbent like a towel, but not to the point of being excessive. Softness, these are some of the least soft towels I've ever handled, and they're also very thin. This purchase is solely for the purpose of purchasing a logo. Other than that, nothing! It's not something I'd do.
Fading color.
This is the third time I've purchased these towels (my previous two were threadbare from repeated use and were thrown away by my wife). I originally purchased them because I have fond memories of wearing Lacoste polos (which no longer fit me as well as they once did) and wanted to relive my glory days of the 1980s with one of my favorite brands. I like how fluffy the towels are and how well they dry me off. Sure, there are fluffier towels on the market, but none of them bear the aligator logo. I like that there are so many colors to choose from and that matching hand towels are available, but I wish they were a little more durable.
I'm not sure about other colors, but the seaglass came out of the first wash with a big tie-dye pattern. Cream-colored splotches that appear to be dyed. The other towels (of varying quality) were not discolored in any way. Other than the seaglass towel, subsequent washes in the same machine caused no discoloration to any of the fabrics. br>br>It's still a usable towel; it's just not as attractive as seagrass.
It's comfortable to wear and dries quickly. I prefer this towel to the ones I have from Ralph Lauren, Pottery Barn, and Restoration Hardware. It's well worth the money to invest in high-quality, long-lasting towels like these Lacoste towels, and you can't go wrong with the Amazon price. Your towel hunt has come to an end. This is one you should purchase.
This is the second time I've done something like this. I have gray (I believe it's called cliff) and now super white alligators, which can be bleached (which is what I was worried about, so I bought a hand towel first to bleach and see) and are soft and durable. When it comes to linty towels and towels that get crusty or have strings hanging when you pull the loop, I'm completely insane. These towels are ideal and will be the only ones I purchase from now on.
This towel was sent to me by Amazon Warehouse. I was expecting a return because there were so many items from the warehouse, but it was just used. The towel appears to have been washed and dried several times at high temperatures. The edges are lightly frayed and discolored, and the labels appear to be dirty. This purchase has left me extremely dissatisfied.
I've tried a lot of high-end towels, and these are by far the best - Any other brand I've tried pales in comparison.
