This set of small towels is exactly what I was hoping for. Having unpacked and washed them according to directions, I discovered that two of the four immediately frayed down the side. They are unusable and will have to be returned. This is very disappointing.
My towels looked gorgeous when they arrived, but after I washed them for the first time, four of them As you could see from the photos, the quality seemed fine, and even after they arrived, they still looked nice, but after the first wash with other towels, they came unstitched and frayed.
Their appearance has improved after I have washed them. There were no issues at all with my purchase of gray!.

It didn't need to be fancy or even very attractive, so these were the ideal choice for me. No other items are covered with pills, corners are already curled like they are old, and there are loose strings on the edges. Great value and very reasonably priced are these adorable little towels, which come in a set of four. My two other white with gray inital fingertip towels look great under these. They are absorbent, wash well (no lint after the first wash), and are very absorbent. The product is well worth the purchase.
There is a definite flaw with one of the four towels that runs the entire length of the fabric on the front (these towels come with a stitched border, so it would be tough to hide a flaw on Hopefully I would have caught it, and that towel will be used for cleaning, leaving me with three nice towels.
