The picture is pretty, but the quality is poor

I love the way these rugs look and how safe they are. While I like that they are nonslip, I have trouble getting them clean. As a result of the flooding in my bathroom, I had to wash my clothes. It was stuffed full of lint in the dryer, no really, there was an excessive amount of lint in there. In addition to the rug starting to ravel after drying on low heat, I noticed that it was also shrinking. I don't find them very comfortable to walk on because the white portion of the shoe is raised and does not feel good on my.

Putting them in the hand wash cycle on my washer didn't work because the black got all fuzzy.

You have to wash it for the first time if you want the color to come out on the white. It picks up all the dirt from your shoes.

". Shag is a bit out of control. I tried to wash it and it looks like it had been in an animal's stomach. This made a mess of my washer and dryer, turning the white into gray and bringing it back to a clump.

They do pick up lint pretty badly and suffer from a lack of construction

They are pretty rugs, but they pick up lint quite a bit and are too heavy to wash in a regular size washing machine. I am unsure whether I would purchase this product.
