There are only small cups for the brush inside a set of holes in the bottom. I filled it in the tub instead of the sink, because otherwise the water would have been all over the bathroom! The brush holder had been put together, and I had assumed it held water just like every other brush holder. No, it's not like that. There are holes on the bottom of the box. The purpose for which this was done is unclear to me There are 2 ways to fill the small removable cup inside fill it with water or leave it empty. Two pet peeves can be avoided with both features The metal brush holders that rust over time no matter what finish they are in (I've tried them all, from chrome to white) and the black brush that conceals the nasty toilet residue colors that build up on white brushes over time. There is no way I will ever buy a metal toilet brush holder again.

I give it to you! The one I bought was almost identical to this one, but it was far too weak to penetrate deep into Whenever I looked at it, it looked like it might crumble at any moment. I was looking for something more durable, so this is perfect for me. You'll notice the handle of this tool is longer but turns into a shorter, more robust tool when you scrub your "head"! This does not seem to be a fragile structure. For the third time, I have purchased this product for all my heads! I am pleased with your work.

I like the way this looks better than the old plastic white toilet brush kit I had. Despite having fewer bristles than my old one, this does the job and makes a much better impression in my bathroom. The only reason I give it only 4 stars is because it does not have the additional bristles for cleaning underneath the bowl.

Despite the low price, the quality is absolutely terrible. There is a problem with the handle not screwing into the shaft of the brush, as other reviews have pointed out, resulting in a very crooked cleaner once assembled. On top of that, the screw connecting the handle to the shaft is attached to cheap plastic in the middle. This is the part that is most vulnerable. The lid also looks warped and is awkward to sit on. At this price point, you can get much better options- I don't think it is worth your money to buy this piece of trash.
