The term "dimmable" is used incorrectly to describe the product. The seller claimed that "dimmable" meant that the LED color could be changed when we first contacted them. I'm not sure if something got lost in translation, but dimmable does not mean that. br>br>More importantly, the mirror occasionally makes a loud pop, which causes the clock to reset. This is quite alarming, and it appears to be a potentially dangerous situation. br>br>We attempted to contact the seller, but they were extremely slow to respond. Instead, we'll leave a review here and return the item to Amazon.
This worked perfectly in conjunction with a 20" vanity. The bubble glass light is enhanced by changing colors. For a small bathroom, it's plenty bright, but it might not be enough as a primary light source in a larger room. An electrician installed an outlet behind the mirror so it would sit flush against the wall, and then another switch was installed on the wall. The light switch activates the mirror. Unless you want to change colors, you don't need to touch the circle button on the glass. It's been a month since I've been using it regularly, and it's still going strong! br>br>Recent changes - 12/14 - br>br>It's still going strong!.
I became enraged enough to purchase this mirror after about a year. br>br>I really like it. It has absolutely stunning lighting, and everyone who has come over to use the restroom has remarked on it or taken a selfie in it. Totally worth the money. br>br> br>br>Installation took only 2 minutes. Everything went better than expected in terms of shipping, quality, and everything else. br>br>The company is responsive, and I've looked at a few others, and this one had the best quality and price of all the ones I looked at.
I was really looking forward to getting a lighted mirror, but I was let down. br>1) shoddy workmanship, caulking over the back of the mirror, and the winged girl at the top looks cheesybr>2) I had intended to hang this on my wall. There are no holes or other options for hanging this, so you'll have to rely on nails or screws to hold it up. "Comes with a separate hanging bar," but there is no description of how to use said "hanging bar" in the instructions. More trouble than it's worth for the pricebr>br>Spend a little more money on something you'll be proud to hang on your wall or have in your home.
The mirror is nice, but there was a small flaw in it when it arrived. Before I took off the plastic covering and saw the damage, I had already discarded the box and removed the old mirror, so I didn't bother trying to replace it. It's inconvenient, but I didn't want to go through the hassle of having to return.
This led lighted makeup mirror has a lovely design. It's simple to assemble; simply place the base on top and plug it in (it can also be hung vertically). It is simple to use the touch screen buttons. The image is realistic, and the size is ideal (not too large to fit on my table, but not too small to be useful). It has three lighting settings, and I can change the brightness of the lights by holding down the long-press button. To get a better light for your dress or makeup, press the touch switch. It appeals to my tastes.
I had them professionally installed, so I'm not sure what the process is like or if it's simple. The contractor, on the other hand, has not expressed any dissatisfaction with the project.
I'm so let down! The mirror is lovely, but the first shipment arrived with the box shattered. I was actually cut from the glass, so I ordered a replacement. The second one arrived and appeared to be in good condition, but when we tried to hand it, we discovered the beveled edge had many chips in the bottom corners. It was far too obvious to be ignored. Now it's time to look for a new one.
