I did the same thing with mine, and I couldn't figure out why. To begin, place the mirror in the desired location and mark it with a pen underneath it. All you have to do is separate the hangers, which are located between the two pieces. Then, underneath the hangers, place the hangers where you marked them, and mark the spot in the middle of the holes where you need to drill once more. Drill holes in the plastic insert and push it in with the red plastic peace that came with it after you've finished drilling holes. After that, screw it together with the screws. It is hoped that this information will be beneficial to you. It is a simple procedure to follow.

This mirror is quite lovely. It's a high-quality mirror with no distortions or imperfections, and it's beautifully beveled around the edge, as shown in the photo. With a gentle push or pull of one finger, it tilts smoothly so you can see from your head to below your waist. In my newly self-styled bathroom, the next best thing to a full-length mirror is a full-length mirror. All Amazon products were used to renovate the room. Take a look at the finished product in the photo. br>br>I also gave the sink, popup stopper, and faucet in the picture five stars on their own pages. I'm very pleased with all of my Amazon purchases, which have resulted in a fantastic renovated bathroom for just over $150. What a fantastic deal for such a beautiful bathroom! We have a 400-square-foot tiny house that was customized by the manufacturer, including the conversion of a pantry into a very small half-bathroom. They installed an improperly sized sink. My breasts were pressed up against this massive sink that hung 16" from the wall when I sat on the toilet. That was the driving force behind this project. I took the sink out of the 12" vanity it was in and replaced it with two fine top-quality pine boards that I finished with polyurethane. They're visible in the picture beneath the vessel sink. I drew a pencil around the sink drain hole to mark the drain hole in the boards. I used this oil-based adhesive to secure the sink. silicone caulk on the bottom of the sink and a rubbed bronze popup stopper with no overflow. The sink only protrudes an inch from the vanity top, making the cramped space much more comfortable for me. The faucet is an oil-filled one. It's finished in rubbed bronze and resembles an antique hand pump in size. The mirror's hardware has an oil-rubbed bronze finish. To match the finish of the stopper and faucet, it's finished in rubbed bronze. Thank you so much, Amazon. br>br>At first, I was intimidated by the way the tilting mechanisms on the sides are supposed to be installed in order for the mirror to be held securely and safely, but the installation instructions were clear and I had no problems. Simply make use of the included template and wall anchors, taping the paper template to the wall before drilling holes for the hardware to be attached.
simple. It's an attractive mirror. I like the overall low profile because it's simple and functional. It has a nice swivel. The setup was simple and straightforward. forward and was successful despite the fact that the installer was inexperienced (thanks, son). In the guest bathroom, it's a nice touch. Cons - (1) There are several small scratches on the mirror, but they were not visible (over the pedestal sink) and we double-checked that they were only on the top half of the mirror; (2) There was an 8" long hole in the box when it arrived - I was afraid I would have to return it because it looked like a toe had gone through it. That wasn't necessary, thankfully. Before shipping, the seller should conduct a better quality control inspection and wrap the mirror in protective plastic.
About a year ago, I put up the mirror in our bathroom. We were able to find exactly what we needed. Though the ability to pivot was intriguing, my wife and I decided it was unnecessary and did not move it. It all came crashing down at 2 a. m. last night. Because it is made of a special type of safety glass, only a few small pieces of glass fell to the floor, despite the fact that it was sandwiched over in the middle. We were fortunate that the mirror stayed in the sink basin because it is quite heavy. As far as I can tell, the flaw is that the pins that hold it together are made of pot metal. Pot metal is great for pouring into molds, but it has no business being under load, as I worked as a structural aircraft welder for many years.
And it's been doing its job admirably for more than a year. When someone over 6 feet tall came to visit and said it was the first time in a long time that he could see the top of his head in a bathroom mirror, we were reminded of how useful it is. The mirror was easily installed using the Moen template. The beveled edge and oil rubbed bronze finish complement each other beautifully. The mirror tilts smoothly and is quite thin, giving it a delicate rather than a heavy feel in my opinion. We've gotten a lot of positive feedback. It is something I strongly suggest.
It comes with a diagram to level and set your holes for drilling. We get nothing but compliments on the style and look of this mirror, so I didn't bother with the directions because they seemed annoying, and it's pretty straightforward.
This is something I've been looking for. My bathroom has officially become my favorite room! It's simple to put together (you'll need a drill gun). 5/16 bit), I really like the shape, and it's very sturdy. The bronze adds such a lovely touch. I'm in the process of purchasing two more for the remaining bathrooms. Moen, I appreciate your help.
I had some shipping issues (it arrived a few days late) and the mirror had a chip/crack on the side, which I did not report or contact the seller about because the damage was where the metal was secured. I suppose it's just one of the risks of having fragile items delivered to you. Since then, it hasn't given me any problems. I also like how it can be angled at various angles. In general, this is a good product.
I was apprehensive about ordering glass through this site, but I couldn't find any in my area. I'm so glad I went for it. There was not a scratch on them because they were packaged so well. The setup was simple, but we're construction experts, so I'm not sure that's accurate. There are several functions to the tilting feature. When you tilt them up against the wall, I find they're very easy to clean. The brackets are attractive and complement bronze fixtures well.
