The mirror is particularly appealing. I only gave it four stars because it didn't come with a plug or an on/off switch pad, as the description implied. Also, there is a minor flaw/chip in one corner of the glass, possibly caused by shipping, but it isn't significant enough to require repackaging and return. The box it came in was completely ruined, but the mirror itself was in good condition (except for that one corner). The backlighting is fantastic and dimmable. lighting. Anti- The fog effect is fantastic. Very thick and sturdy. It appears to be more expensive than it actually is! The mirror will lie flat against the wall if you buy a plug rather than hardwiring it. Velcro holds the back of the mirror in place, so you can remove it, move the wire inside, and run it out one of the holes on the side of the mirror frame to keep it flat against the wall.

Because it is a flush mount system, the power wire is located in the middle of the back and requires cutting a hole in the wall to accommodate it. "keyholes. This mirror is not for you if you have no prior electrical experience. Make a trace of the mirror's backside. Cut it out with care, keeping the size in mind, and tape it to the back of the mirrow. This mirror was the ideal finishing touch! We leave it on all the time and turn the light switch off when it's not in use because it's hard wired to a light switch. The button can be used to manually turn off the mirror. It functions perfectly, but we wanted to connect it to a switch. The multiple lines that light up were appealing to me. At first, I was enamored with this mirror when it arrived and was installed. It appears to be fantastic. The function lights do not turn off, which is the only thing I would mention. This mirror is in my spare bathroom, so it doesn't bother me while I'm sleeping. If I had this in my master bathroom, I would have to close the door because of the light it emits, even though it isn't too bright. Regrettably, the defrost function turns on by itself about 2 months after receiving the mirror. The mirror was extremely hot when I first noticed it. The function light now illuminates as if it is turned on, but the defrost feature is disabled.
