Moen 226 Donner Toilet Paper Holder Roller, Chrome

To replace the rollers in both of my bathrooms, I purchased two of these (in chrome). The rollers I received are not the same as the ones shown in the photo. The rollers I received are the same style as those shown in white, but this one is so flimsy that it bends before you can even put it on the holder, and the ends are two little pointed tips rather than the flatter end with the plastic piece down the center. They don't fit right, but sending them back isn't worth the effort or the cost of gas. For nothing, I thank you.

It's a toilet paper holder made of gleaming plastic. It performs exactly as you'd expect and appears exactly as you'd expect. br>br>It's cheap and sturdy enough to hold decades of toilet paper rolls securely, as long as your young incontinent child with questionable hygiene habits doesn't throw it in the trash because "it had poop on it. " Yuck. "br>br>For what it is, it is a solid product that is well worth a few dollars. br>br>My only skepticism is why "softness" is considered in the review recommendations. It isn't at all squishy. It's made up of two hard plastic pieces with a spring inside to keep your toilet paper roll in place. br>br>Which is exactly what it does. If you're looking for a soft toilet paper holder, this is not the one for you.

I was perplexed as to how a toilet paper holder from the MOEN brand could be so inexpensive. until I got it in the mail Although it appears to be stainless steel, it is actually made of plastic. I ordered two, and one of them refused to return. Because it was stuck, I had to slam one end of it against a hard surface to get it to work. It was packaged in a low-cost plastic bag, not something MOEN would produce. There's a knock-on effect here. off. I was disappointed, but since it'll only be used to hold toilet paper and the majority of it will be covered by the roll, I'll keep it. Don't buy it if you want something nice.

I'm not sure what to say. It's just a toilet paper roll holder, and it gets the job done. It's difficult to extol its virtues, but I like it, it does the job well, and it was relatively inexpensive. It's a huge improvement over the old one I had in my bathroom. When I went to change the toilet paper roll, the old one would spring apart in my hand and half of it would fly across the room.
Note: I was supposed to give a softness rating as one of my ratings. It only received one star from me, which is a good thing. I prefer soft toilet paper, but I prefer a toilet paper holder that is sturdy enough to hold a roll of toilet paper.

The ends of the toilet paper holders were not thin enough, so I had to buy several of these. I'm pleased to report that this one was the correct size (it's odd that all of the pictures appear to be the same size). I could have easily purchased the white plastic ones, but my children seem to destroy them. These are significantly nicer and more durable. Yayy!.

After reading the other reviews, I was expecting this to be a low-cost product. When it arrived, I was pleasantly surprised. Yes, it's made of plastic, but that's what they say. That wasn't the surprise; rather, it was how well-designed it is. When I needed to change the roll, my old toilet paper roll holder, which was made up of three parts, would always fall apart. I'd have to track down the spring and try to reassemble the pieces, install the roll, and then replace the holder roll in the rack, all while holding the pieces together so they didn't spring apart. br>br>This is most likely two parts, but they are connected in a way that keeps them together. Plus, the plastic isn't that thin, cheap stuff that breaks down over time (yes, I've had that kind as well. ) )br>br>In conclusion, if you're on a budget, you can get good quality items. I anticipate it lasting a long time, and it is now a simple pleasure for me to change the roll.

It appears to be well-made and works well. I'm not convinced by all of the other reviews that claim it's cheap and flimsy. For the money, it appears to be of good quality and will last a long time; the only reason for the four star rating is that everything made in China rarely lasts.

It arrived on time, the quality is satisfactory, but the description states that it will fit standard paper holders, which it does not. I'm not upset, just a little disappointed, because it only cost $1. I figured I'd gotten my money's worth at $50. Now all I have to do is go out and see if there's anything on at a hardware store.
