No, I wouldn't recommend it. Because the adhesive is industrial strength, moving it without damaging the surface of whatever you're sticking it to is difficult. So put it where you want it to go and where it will be able to stay.
It appears that it will adhere to whatever surface you place it on. The one I put in is incredibly well-placed. I hope this has been of assistance. Perhaps an email to the seller to see if they have any feedback on it, though I believe it will stick just fine.

When applying to the wall, make sure to use a small leveler. I tried eyeballing it, but it turned out crooked. I didn't want to risk damaging the adhesive by pulling it off, so I just left it because I'm pretty sure I'll be the only one who notices it.
