Yes, it can accommodate a large roll. This toilet paper holder is quite lovely.
It's stainless steel, which I purchased. It appears to be of excellent quality. Concerning the brass, I'm afraid I'm powerless to comment.
No - There is no toilet paper storage in it.
The roll holder looks like one you'd find in most homes. The roll holder is made up of two tubes, one of which is smaller in diameter and slides into the larger tube. Both tubes have a spring inside them that pushes them out in opposite directions when compressed, allowing them to be removed from the roll holder. It's a tight fit, and it takes some wiggling to get it out, but it's doable.

Spring is here! While pulling the roll, make sure it is fully loaded so the paper does not slide sideways or come loose. Chrome is a very powerful material. It's of excellent quality and matches my Kohler fixtures perfectly.

This is the perfect match for my vacation rental bathroom's décor and need for a stand, and it is wiped down and polished after each guest departure. However, after 6 months, tiny rust spots appeared on the base, as many other reviews had reported. They were initially easy to remove with a little rubbing. After 15 months, the rust on the base has spread and is very noticeable, and it can no longer be rubbed off. This product, as appealing as it is, only lasted a short time, forcing me to make a new purchase. The one star rating is based on the poor finish and short lifespan, which makes it an unsuitable purchase.

The finished product is a Pedestal Paper Holder that is VERY STABLE. It looks lovely, the finish is flawless, it's the perfect height, and I can't think of anything that could be done to improve it in my opinion. This is going to look fantastic in my new bathroom. It's made of a very sturdy material and has a substantial weight to it. When it comes to toilet paper holders, the following are some suggestions: It does a good job of fulfilling its purpose. I looked at other stores like RH, PB, and others before deciding to order this one because it was more cost-effective. The metal tissue holder was a pleasant surprise. It's not one of those cheap plastic tubes you see on a lot of other things. I wish it was 2 to 3 inches taller, but it's not stubby enough. The base has a nice weight to it. It doesn't get any easier than this when it comes to putting it together. I only deducted one star because the top metal ball had a minor scratch on it when it arrived. It's not noticeable enough to warrant a return, but it did catch my eye after the fact, and I'm pleased with the overall result. For the price, it is unquestionably worthwhile. (I wish there was a matching train rack!).
I was looking for something to go in our newly renovated bathroom - There aren't a lot of options, but the quality varies greatly. I've read a lot of complaints about these holders tipping over or being difficult to refill with toilet paper. When you pull on the toilet paper roll, this one has a nice, heavy base and doesn't tip or pull over. For a potty-training session, this is ideal. 3 year old is being trained! It is simple to remove the roll holder - My 9-year-old son can easily replace a roll of toilet paper. In a heartbeat, I would buy this again.
It's well-made and has a nice finish, but the color is a lot lighter than it appears on the website (or in the box). Also, when we went to put it together, there were a lot of metal shavings falling out of the tube part, which is definitely a plus.
