My white one has the appearance of pearl, and the silver one appears to be silver. I was able to fit 80% of the tissues that I took out of the normal store bought tissue box and placed in it. Although I cleaned out the inside of the tissue holder and dried it before I added my tissue, I did wash the outside of the tissue holder beforehand. You've got a good point there. The reason I used clean tissues was that I wanted to make sure there was no plastic or manufacturing dust in them, I didn't want your tissues to absorb some of that dust, so I cleaned them and dried them well Make sure the inside of the tissue is dry before placing it inside. I see comments complaining about how big the box of tissues is and how the holder will not fit one box of tissues. We are glad to have you here.
