It is not possible to touch the bottom with the pump tube. Although the bottle is not a clear bottle, it is hard to tell how much space is at the bottom, but when I lined up the tube along the outside, I found that the space is about 1/4 inch wide. There is a clean look to them and the lettering is excellent. For the master bathroom, I purchased one set, and for the guest bathroom, I purchased another set.
