Basically, you need to push down on the pump at the same time as turning the pump counterclockwise (to the left). Some weren't difficult, but others took several attempts. Get on your hands and knees and turn really hard. It's a really great one for me.

It is a good idea to keep these bottles around. Because the neck opening is wide enough, I could easily pour shampoo and conditioner in without spilling anything. As I used a regular conditioner bottle, I was able to fill this replacement bottle with ease since it had a normal bottle neck. My first impression of the bottles is that they're beautiful and feel pretty well made, and the pumps work well.
I wish the stem of the pump was black like the rest of the pump head, but otherwise this is a good product for the price.
It pumps the perfect amount of product. It is easy to handle thick conditioner. To get the pumps going I had to turn longer than I expected - it takes persistence - and I had to turn much longer than I expected - The batch I received had two labels that said 'conditioner' (see picture) instead of one that said 'body soap' After I filled two bottles, I only realized this after it was already exposed, so cleaning and repackaging would have been a lot of work. I would like them otherwise, so that's sad.
It was time to get some bottles that would fit into If they would just say soap, shampoo, and conditioner, I would be satisfied. There is no sense in the line below shampoo and conditioner. I feel like I am translating a bad Chinese to English. Having them in plastic means that if they fall, I can catch them. You won't have to worry about them breaking.

I like the look of the containers. They look darker than they appear in the picture but are still attractive. They are sturdy and do not carry a cheap impression. It stopped pumping when I was about one quarter of the way through the container of conditioner. I will still have to refill it quite a bit before it reaches the empty mark, but there's still plenty of product in there. This is why I would not order them.
The bulk sizes of my shampoo and body wash took up too much room in the shower, so I decided to stop buying them. I love these refillable tubes because they work great and are the perfect size.
