I cannot imagine what the issue would be unless the sand at their beach was different from the sand on the beaches in Alabama and Florida. Some reviews mentioned a problem pushing them down far enough into the sand to keep them stable. I told my husband several times during our trip how glad I was to have found these cup holders. He was very impressed. The beach bag should include this item as a staple Those who attend will feel the love as well and I will share it with those close to me.

Had high expectations, but didn't live up to them

Perhaps if it were just a can, it would work, but the RTIC/YETI tumblers are just too big and top-heavy for them. Sand that has been packed is very hard to get into Ocean breezes can make you feel like you're close to the sea. It was very disappointing to find out the 6 pack were too floppy when on loose sand. I bought it as gift for friends going to the beach. I like the extra phone side on those cases, and they are very sturdy.
