It would be possible to remedy this issue if we added another 3/8" width.
It is great to have a I could not be more pleased with the installation, it works perfectly. A very sturdy construction. The "as seen on TV" organizer I purchased is being returned and the new one purchased will be the one I get.
The product excels at being expandable. The only problem is when you set the expanse, there is no clip to secure it when picking it up when you've done so. Because there was no clip to secure the bottles, I dropped one onto the floor when I picked up the tray. Still, the product is worth the price. Just be cautious when handling it.
There are a variety of organizers out there, so it really depends on what you want to organize. A nice feature of this organizer is its ability to expand to whatever size you require. It's also nice that there seems to be a 1" lip around each shelf to keep things A depth of 9 is indicated on the organizer. It measures 5". A shelf should be 10 inches long, but I have a center piece of wood that makes it only 9 inches long. Thus, it works, but the adjustment range isn't as broad as I had hoped for.
My recommendation is to use this item if you want to organize your vitamins and personal medicine in one place. It turned out there were THREE of them when I cleaned out the cabinet. All of the difference is in the lip that surrounds it. They are held in place by this.
