Does this work only with free standing tubs or will it be able to work with tubs that are anchored to the wall on one side?

This works for both kinds of water, I have a bathtub/shower combo, and it works well. Just be careful about getting it wet, or it will start to mold.

Can you tell me what the groove below the cup holder is ?

There is a phone slot that can hold a lot of iPhones. I have an iPhone 11pro and it fits sideways without a problem.

Although they claim it is waterproof, this is not in fact true

In addition, It is very sturdy and thick, which I really like. This product has been used a few times and accidentally fell into the tub when my toddlers were playing with it. At first I thought no big deal since it says the bag or wallet is Not at all! I was able to mold it completely! There are no words to express how angry I am. Make sure you do not sell products that claim to be waterproof when they aren't. As a result, I have wasted my money, and I must throw this product.

It has a nice finish on the bathtub tray. There is a smooth slide to adjust the width. The Kindle Water Bottle is a great way for reading on the go. The Tervis cups that come with it are strong enough to hold two insulated 24 ounce.

My tub looks so much better with this! In addition to my wine glass, iPad, and small towel, it fits nicely in this case. It kept everything in place nicely in spite of the expandable arms! I was worried it would fall in due to the expandable arms.

There is a minor issue with finishing, but otherwise the quality is While the bath tray itself appears to be excellent, I did notice that it had some splinters right out of the box

I actually got poked in the skin by one of them, so I plan to lightly sand the affected areas and refinish them. In spite of that minor flaw, it seems to be a good pick for the price.
