It lowers cholesterol to the point where I swear by it. A few years ago, I was on another brand that was somewhat effective, but my numbers were high nonetheless. My total cholesterol and my ratio have decreased significantly since I started on this brand one year ago. My good cholesterol level has also increased, my bad cholesterol level has gone down, and my triglyceride count has gone down 50%. It was a very happy mood for Dr. To be ready for my blood work, I started with 2 a day and then went up to 3 and 4 a day.
