Could you tell me what this is? For over a month, I was taking it in hot water, thinking that it would not have that "slick" quality marshmallow root is supposed to have. However, my stomach began to ache more than ever, so I switched to cold water and flushed it down. Despite not knowing exactly what it is, this does not act like marshmallow root, which is why it still does not have a thick or slimy texture after several hours. A mucilage is NOT what it is! Will be returning my second order in the next few days.
It was difficult to open this bag due to the foul smell. Because I have never tried marshmallow root before, I can't say how it tastes, but I have a strong tolerance for bitter flavors. I tried it in a drink anyway, and it was okay. Take a small sip of this In the beginning, I felt a foul taste and had to brush it off my tongue. Then I felt nauseated for a few minutes. There is no question that this is invalid, despite the stating an expiration date in September of Now that January 2021 has come and gone, we are in 2020. The Amazon team wants me to take it somewhere to return it, but I cannot understand why they want an opened food item returned, and it isn't worth it to me. It is at least useful to know what brand to avoid going forward.
It is disgusting! I do not recommend buying anything. This has a strong smell and taste of sawdust or church. The mistake I made was rating another marshmallow root bad since it looked like the bag I rated this. It was the other one that I never received, so I purchased this one instead. I don't recommend buying. The thought of vomiting almost made me throw up.
The powder is of a very high quality, and it is less expensive than other brands I've used.
The product may be helpful for my minor indigestion problems, so I thought I'd give it Though I cannot say that the product doesn't work or helps in my case, its taste is very gritty like sand, and it's very difficult to mix.
A timely delivery, well-wrapped package, and just as described item arrived. For this reason, it is added to a daily drink as an aid to digestion, which functions well.
I don't find the flavor too overwhelming. It has a good level of absorbency. The fruit served as a natural expectorant for me.
Then I blend it with a few other ingredients to make a morning shake. A lot of the product ended up in the bottom of the container, so it was difficult to get the last of it out. But it was a good.
