To treat a recent episode of GERD, I first purchased this product as part of a supplement stack. As far as I understand, it is efficient for soothing the esophagus lining, which was irritated by my vomiting. I found that this product did a good job in this regard, but I prefer Slippery Elm Bark because I can feel the irritation subsiding more quickly with that product. Marshmallow root, however, practically cured the poor digestion I've had since I was a teenager. Let me just say that I do not have Crohn's, but something close to it. I started this product, and found that I was doing perfect #2s every day, once a day, as soon as I started taking it. When I was younger, I had to do a #2 at least three times a day, and sometimes I would run I was scoped by a gastroenterologist, who reported that there was nothing unusual found. Therefore, I will continue taking this product once a day, but not to improve my GERD symptoms but to make my #2s perfect. As a person who suffers from GERD, and recently had surgery for all my gastro-related issues, I bought these supplements. The pills are easy to swallow and are fine. A tylenol capsule is the size of one of these. It leaves a strange taste in the mouth for a little while, but it does not bother me too What I dislike about this product is that, after purchase (my mistake), I read you shouldn't take it at the same time as another drug since it will interfere with its I no longer take vitamins with the meds, as it doesn't mention that you could take them with vitamins. In case this has any effect on them, I now take them separately from my prescription drugs. The fact that they have to be taken at different times makes it annoying and more difficult to remember them. My experience suggests that it does not help with gastro. It does not appear to make a difference to me but maybe it is?.
