I was particularly anxious about how the DGL Licorice would work for me since I suffered severe malabsorption issues and digestive distress. Purchased this product as a remedy for occasional acid reflux. I am quite pleased with the effects. It is easy to swallow, with no bad aftertaste After a taste, I usually feel the relief I need within 15 minutes. Definitely worth the money!.

You should take it after a meal or not on an empty stomach so that there is no aftertaste.

I prefer its taste even though it is easier and more convenient than the tea, and I get the same benefits from it. The pills, while more convenient and easier to take, do not provide the same benefits to me. There is a pretty high recommended dosage for this supplement The recommended dosage is 2 capsules 3 times a This means that the bottle of 100 will only last approximately 17 days at the recommended dose. So it isn't a great value for the money. It is not difficult to swallow the capsules, as they are reasonable in size. However, while the licorice tea was effective at settling an upset stomach, it took longer, and was not quite as fast, or as efficient, as licorice tea (or a combo of licorice and various spices or ingredients). Since each capsule has no discernible taste, it would make sense for those who do not enjoy the taste of licorice. There were no side effects for me at all as well. But if you are looking for maximum benefits, be sure to drink some licorice tea. We give this a 3 out of 5.

My ears tended to be irritated by vowels and there was some bloating as well. They have only been in my system for a few days so I am not sure how far they will help during the long run but so far they are working. I expect they may have a faint licorice smell (and I am not a licorice fan), but not enough to be an issue. Having a capsule that won't allow you to taste the licorice is a bonus. I saw reviews that mentioned the flavor but my guess is that the reviews were about not swallowing the pills because they do not taste good. Having said that, I dislike anything with licorice flavoring, so I was surprised at how great this product is.

In the past, I've been taking chewable forms of DGL, and I think I got spoiled by them because they taste so good and you didn't have to take very much of them. You should take these Yuve capsules 3 times a day, two capsules at a time. It's a lot of pills, and the container only has 100 pills, which is enough to last about 17 days. It is not too difficult for you to swallow these Yuve capsules since the size is medium. As far as the acid reflux is concerned, they do help, but I thankfully don't have it all the time since I don't want to take six The capsules do not leave an aftertaste on my tongue. It may do you some good to take six of these every day if you don't mind taking them that way. Personalize if you will. I personally feel that the prices for these capsules are excessive given the dose.

Due to my autistic nature, I find certain supplements to be very calming for me, which makes it easier for me to fall asleep (and stay asleep). Sugar free licorice candy had been my favorite once upon a time, but I was never a big fan of eating it. This supplement has made me a big fan and I plan to use it again in my regular regimen.
