I see that it is advertised as 16 oz but the item description says it weighs 12 oz. Do you know how much weight 8 ounces is? Would you mind telling me how much weight is actually in this?

There were 16 ounces in my package.

Would you mind telling me how fine it is? I want to use it on my skin. Do you feel granules or grains when you mix it with water? Is it as fine as flour when combined with water?

There is very fine powder in it and it feels like flour when it isn't mixed. While the paste will be smooth when mixed with water, I am unsure how pure it will be.

Do you think adding a "shake" or a smoothie would work? If so, how well did it ?

You can add the recommended amount of tsp to smoothies just as you would add any other herb

I'd probably not buy this brand again as it does not seem as sweet as other licorice root I've had in the past.

The packaging was the only thing about this product I didn't like. There's something awkward about using it. My hands are covered in product as I try to retrieve it. There's no bad taste to the flavor. My tea with ginger doesn't require any sweetener when I add it to it.

This is a good product, but I only bought it because I heard it balances hormones and helps reduce Acne doesn't seem to bother me too much, and it fluctuates all by its own accord. As a result, I cannot say whether this powder has Over the course of two months, I consistently used it. A cup of heated water with cinnamon pairs well with it. In the winter, this is a great place to be. There is no doubt that this bag will last for years to come.

If there was a bottle instead of a sack, I'd prefer it. The author has done a good job with the writing. licorice powder has a slightly bitter taste, but that is the nature of its flavor.
