In this case, the manufacturers overestimated the functionality of the product The effects were grossly exaggerated while the impact was grossly under-estimated They did this in order to give the impression that not only do they provide a superior product compared to its competitors, but also that its price point is quite reasonable by suggesting a single dropperful of oil a day was enough.
