If a capsule isn't labeled as vegan, it's made from animals in every case I've looked at. Even if you call the manufacturer, they have complete freedom to say whatever they want on the phone. In terms of law, it's what's on paper that counts. And for many products, this is the best you can do in terms of a guarantee.
There is no indication on the label that it contains soy or soy derivatives.
I believe it says gluten-free on the package.
On the internet, I provided information from the label that a consumer could not easily read.

I'm fine with just one. I've struggled with weight and cholesterol issues for years, and when I combined this product with a low carb, high healthy fat eating plan, my triglycerides dropped 99 points in one month, and my bad cholesterol dropped 50 points in the first month. This product, I'm sure, was an excellent addition to a healthier diet. I only got the fishy taste a couple of times because I didn't drink enough water with it.
I was eating salmon twice a week or more because it helped my joints become more flexible. Fresh salmon is costly, but it is far superior to other Fish Oil Supplements, which can be costly or wasteful. I bought three bottles because this company offers a discount if you buy multiple bottles. There is no aftertaste, and there are no burps if it is taken with food. My skin and hair are already beautiful, but my joints were in desperate need of some 'oiling. ' This is a brand that I would recommend.
What an egregious oversight! It's no fun to have a fishy taste in your mouth. Not a good idea.
I would not have purchased this if I had received a sample. br>I bought this to see how it compared to the other fish oil supplements I was taking. First, I smelled it when I first opened it up. Wow, did it smell like rotten fish? The Omega rating appealed to me, but the smell and aftertaste of fish when I burped did not. br>Probably wouldn't recommend this baby because it smelled bad and left a fishy aftertaste in my mouth. Also, the pills were a little difficult for me to swallow, so keep that in mind. br>I have to question the freshness of it as well; it had a strong fishy odor. If you don't like the smell of fish, look for something else to do.
We've been giving him for about a week now. This was purchased for my dog, who has extremely dry skin and is constantly scratching. We've been giving him salmon oil for about a week now, and he's transformed into a completely different dog. He's not rubbing his chin on the carpet anymore, he's not scratching as much, and his skin is looking great. This is something I intend to buy again in the future.
I just opened this product and was immediately met with a foul, rancid odor. I've tried two other brands of wild Alaskan fish oil supplements, and neither of them smelled as bad as this one did. I bought these because one pill contains 1000 mg, whereas other brands require two supplements to achieve the same amount. I'm coming back. The hunt is still on.
Omega 3's of exceptional quality. With genetic CAD, you can't take chances with quality, and these are reliable and effective, keeping my triglycerides in the 70s. The cholesterol levels are even better, but I'm on medication as well. If I don't take these, I notice a difference in my hair and skin. It's a piece of cake to take. When I chew the soft gel, I occasionally get a taste, but no fish vapor trail later.
I haven't done a chemical analysis on these pills, but they appear to do what I'm taking salmon oil for: help with a mood disorder and help me sleep better at night. br>br>They're big pills, and I have a hard time swallowing them all. This is a common occurrence with fish oil. I really wish they would make half-sized capsules so we could just take twice as many of them. Some of the less expensive brands do offer them in smaller capsules, but they also charge more for the same amount of fish oil.
