Questions & Answers

Why does it say 1000mg on the front of the bottle but the nutrition facts say it only has 580mg?

I don't have that product anymore, but I'm looking at my bottle of Ultimate Omega, and the large number represents the total of all Omega 3s, i.e. DHA and EPA are two of the most important nutrients in the human body. I hope this has been of assistance in some way.

Is it possible to chew on these? I'm looking for a gift for a young child. ?

No way, no how. Try Nordic Naturals Children's DHA Chewables (if you're looking for DHA) or Nordic Berries for multivitamins gummies (might have DHA, but I'm not sure right now).

Excellent quality! UPDATE: I've stopped taking these because I've switched to agal DHA (which isn't derived from fish)

I, on the other hand, purchase the same brand, Nordic Naturals, and am very satisfied with it. I don't notice much of a difference in my mood or memory while taking these (I'm not sure how to measure that unless it's a huge difference), but I keep taking the DHA for health reasons. However, I do miss the strawberry scent and flavor of these! br>br>I've only been taking these for a few days, so I can't comment on how they're working overall. I had heard good things about this brand and decided to order these in the hopes of improving my memory and mood. However, I wanted to point out that the amount of DHA and EPA in what I received differs slightly from what was depicted in the photo. I don't mind because the pills I got had more DHA in them. Also, I was concerned when I saw the size of the pills because I have difficulty swallowing pills, but since these are gel capsules, they are very easy to swallow! It's a lot less difficult than taking calcium supplements. Also, there is no fishy aftertaste! I've attached photos to show the size of the pills as well as the amount of DHA and EPA in the bottle I received. I'll update this review in a few months if I notice any changes in my memory or mood.

This product aids in the relief of my dry eyes

After friends told me that their doctor recommended these Omega 3 products for dry eyes, I started using them and Omega Vision. I have Sjogren's syndrome, which causes dry eyes, and my ability to use a computer, watch television, or even read a book has been severely limited. My eyes feel better than they have in years after only a few weeks of using these. I have mild dementia as well, but it hasn't improved in any way. The only reason I gave it four stars was because of this.

I did not receive the product as described on the website. EPA is 205 mg rather than 90 mg. I'm even debating whether or not this is a genuine Nordic Natural product.

It really helped me focus in and was great for memory retention

It helped me refocus in the classroom and was great for memory retention. My niece's mind was wandering and she couldn't concentrate. With attention issues, I did some research and found that this is a great natural alternative. Do some research, but this is a great brand, and the strawberry flavor makes it easier to take.
