There is a difference between Grace Co and their previous companies. Not at all what I would call a good thing. There was a time I took softer ones for years before I came across this one. Wouldn't it be horrible if this got It was so painful that I ended up piercing the capsule and sucking out its contents rather than swallow this whole thing. In addition, when I take it in this way, the Vitamin E inside is also different from what they used to make before. Now, I can taste and feel a difference in the E. You will not find a better source of Vitamin E than this. Those who would think that this is a generic med will think that this dose is too low or not enough, but don't be fooled, the way this product breaks down in your body makes this difference. Soft gels should be taken 20 minutes before any other vitamins in order to allow them to absorb on their own. The pills looked totally different when I opened the bottle. I wasn't sure if it was the real product.
