These taste great, they're chewy, and my three-year-old loves them. However, we've had constipation issues for a long time, and our pediatrician recommended probiotics, so we tried these first, and they didn't help us at all, despite the fact that we've been taking them as directed for about four months. 5 and 2. Since they started school/daycare, they've been coughing, sneezing, and snotting like little germ balls every winter. After two winters of our entire family being miserable and on and off antibiotics for various ear infections, bronchitis, strep throat, and every other ailment, I decided enough was enough and began doing some research. We've noticed a difference in our winters since taking these probiotics. My kids have been able to stay healthy by increasing their good bacteria and gut health, both of which are necessary for fighting off bad bacteria. They still get sick now and then, but the colds aren't nearly as bad and last much shorter. br>br>Keep in mind that when you or your children take antibiotics, the medicine kills both good and bad bacteria. This beneficial bacteria can be replenished by eating fermented foods, drinking probiotic foods/drinks like kombucha, kefir, or yogurt, or taking supplements. Supplementing is the simplest and most effective method for children, in my opinion. br>br>These gummies are delicious, and both of my children enjoy them. My children will remind me if I forget to give them out. They're also free of any and all nasties. GMOs, artificial flavors, synthetic colors, preservatives, wheat, milk, soy, gluten, peanuts, tree nut allergens, fish allergens, shellfish, and salicylates are just a few of the things to avoid. They are also vegan and do not contain gelatin. It's extremely difficult to find a gummy vitamin that doesn't contain gelatin (dehydrated skin, bones, and tissues of deceased animals). YUCK) so that gets a big thumbs up.

This does not bother me in the least - Her diet is already low in sugar, so the benefits of adding a little more sugar are well worth it.

They've become a part of her ADHD balancing routine because she enjoys the taste and they're free of the extra junk that most vitamins contain (ironic, isn't it?). All Smarty Pants products are highly recommended and are about $2-$3 less expensive. 3 vs. Target on Amazon.

Probiotics are not recommended by doctors. Probiotics are something I wish I had known about a year ago. It is preferable to be late than never.

Smarty Pants' children's multivitamin is fantastic, but the probiotic gummy was disappointing. We ordered the grape flavor, and while the grape itself was tasty, there was a strong dye aftertaste. Due to the aftertaste, my daughter will not consume them.
