Questions & Answers

Is it true that Nestle has purchased them? Is your company the world's most heinous and predatory food company? This is a huge red flag for the product's quality. ?

After doing some research, it appears that this is the case, as Nestle bought the company in December. ,,,,,,,,, It makes me so sad that I can't express how I feel about it. Even Canadian businesses are swayed by "the bottom line" — profits. The root of all evil is the desire for it. I'm not sure which brand I should choose now. This was by far the best brand I've tried out of the many I've tried.

What's the difference between this shelf-stable version and the refrigerated version? Please don't tell me it needs to be refrigerated! ?

Refrigerated and shelf-stable versions of Dr. Formulated Mood Probiotics are both available. So, how do you tell the two apart? br>Both products contain 50 billion CFU from 16 different probiotic strains, including L. acidophilus. B. helveticus ROO52 and helveticus ROO52 longum RO175 in the dosage that has been shown to help with mood and relaxation in clinical studies. They're gluten-free and vegetarian, and they've got 350mg of organic ashwagandha and organic Alaskan blueberries in them to help with stress. br>However, there is a distinction in the packaging:
- Refrigerated Mood is packaged in an amber glass bottle that should be kept refrigerated (store at 71 degrees Fahrenheit in a dry place). Temperature: 22 degrees Celsius (or something similar).
- BPA-free Mood Shelf Stable is available. Desiccant that is both free and recyclable ensures product potency by keeping moisture out and all the probiotic goodness in a lined bottle - and by doing so, the need for refrigeration is eliminated. Simply keep it cool and dry (i.e., in the refrigerator). (For example, a closet). br>Kelley, I hope this information is useful. Is it necessary to refrigerate this product? It's still on the shelf at the supermarket where I bought it. ?

Hello Jenna,br>The manufacturer recommends that it be refrigerated. GOL sends it to us in an insulated container with ice packs. We then store it in our probiotic refrigerator before shipping orders with an ice pack and an insulated bag. According to the instructions on the box, it should be stored in a dry, cool place below 71 degrees Fahrenheit. If you have any additional concerns, please let us know. Also, keep an eye on our Amazon Storefront because we're constantly adding new items from our 14,000 skus in our physical retail location. Regards,br>Customer Service,br>Holly Hill Health Foodsbr>

What is the best way to tell if the strains in the supplement are pure?

It's best if you buy it directly from the source
5/5

If you don't buy it on Amazon, I must say that this product is fantastic. br>I purchased my first bottle from the Garden of Life website and experienced numerous positive effects as a result of using the product. br>I then purchased a bottle from Amazon and did not experience the same results. br>I then ordered a second bottle from Amazon, but I didn't get the same results, and some of the pills were broken. br>I just ordered another bottle from the Garden of Life website, which arrived three days ago, and I'm experiencing the same results as the first. br>I purchased the shelf stable version each of the four times. br>I imagine Amazon werehouse isn't the best place to get this particular product with live culture, so it's best to buy it directly from the manufacturer.

What a relief it is to have them! My 91-year-old wife is still going strong
5/5

Six years ago, she suffered a stroke and developed progressive vascular dementia. For the past year, she has had daily episodes in which she has no idea who she is, where she is, or who I am. Her parents would be concerned if she claimed I had kidnapped her. She stated that if I did not drive her home, she would simply walk the two blocks (a distance of 2,000 miles). The episodes were about an hour long and extremely debilitating. br>At night, she went through the house, turning on all the lights and double-checking that the front and back doors, as well as both garage doors, were locked. She'd see someone in the house and report it to the authorities. She expressed her apprehensions by stating that she was terrified. She didn't get much sleep during the night. br>I read about studies on mood probiotics and how they've helped people with autism, bipolar disorder, dementia, depression, and other conditions. br>According to the researcher, some strains of mood probiotics are now available over-the-counter, and while they may not help, they certainly can't hurt. br>I found these on Amazon and started giving her two capsules per day. On the first and second days, she kept up with the daily episodes. Nothing happened after that. For the past six weeks, she hasn't had an episode. She still gets up once a night to watch TV, but she only turns on one light and doesn't report any visitors, and her fear has vanished. br>Both of us are sleeping more soundly now. I've started taking the "magic pills" as well.

Mood stabilizer; Reduces the symptoms of depression
5/5

I've been dealing with major depressive disorder for over 5 years and have recently discovered the significance of the gut-brain connection and the importance of probiotics after conducting extensive research. Further research revealed that certain strains target specific mood disorders, such as depression. I'd been taking a "basic" probiotic for years for digestive issues, but this product has additional, specific strains to address mood, so I started taking two a day a month ago and have noticed a significant decrease in my depression symptoms. For the first time in a long time, I actually feel hopeful. My husband has even commented on how much better I'm feeling. I've also noticed a slight improvement in my anhedonia. I'm not "cured" of depression, but I'm willing to try this product to see if it can help me feel better enough to care about eating better, getting some exercise, and possibly even seeing a counselor to help me overcome my social anxiety and isolation.

Where have you been all my life? This is what I got from my neighborhood co-op
5/5

op and decided to give it a shot. I had hoped it would work, but I am a pessimist. I followed the directions and took two capsules per day. I didn't make any other changes in my life. I only took two caps in the morning with my green tea. I did delay my coffee for an hour so that the cap/bacteria could reach its "happy place" without having to travel through a Starbucks carpet. Within 5 days, I could notice a change in my "feelings. " I wasn't in any kind of deep abyss, but life was starting to feel like a slog. I wasn't suicidal, but I wasn't "happy. " "Flat" was the only word that came to mind when I was thinking about myself I was not in the mood to cry or stay in bed when the alarm went off. It was just part of life when my teenager irritated me. "meh". This is exactly how it ought to be. br>When I asked my family what they thought, they unanimously expressed their desire for me to continue with this course. That made me laugh out loud. It's possible that it irritated me a few weeks ago. br>It's like looking out the window of my rainy Seattle apartment and accepting, even liking, the gray. br>I'll start working on my new bottle as soon as possible. I'm sold. br>A quick search on the internet reveals the gut-brain link. "The Benefits of Probiotics for Brain Health" is a quote from an article. "One area that gets overlooked a lot is the gut/mind connection, and it has a lot to do with probiotics as well. " By way of the tenth cranial nerve, the gut is linked to the brain. It's one of the body's largest and longest cranial nerves, but it's more like a two-headed monster. When you're on a nerve, take the one-way street. There are both positive and negative impulses. As a result, when the gut is irritated, certain chemical reactions and nerve impulses are sent to the brain. When the brain is irritated, it can cause the gut to become irritated as well. And here are some of the findings of some of the research: Certain probiotic strains have been shown to calm the lower gut when consumed in large quantities. They relax that area, and the brain relaxes as a result. " said another ad for a probiotic supplement for the brain.

It used to be one of my favorites
3/5

For the last three years, I've discovered There are four bottles. This is something I've been doing for well over a year. It used to be one of my favorites. For the last three years, I've discovered WTF? I have four bottles, and each of them is missing a pill. When you're given a two-pill dose, you'll notice immediately if you've been shorted. It appeared to be a one-time deal to me. off a problem with quality control, but given that it has occurred 3- This is either a systematic QC problem or a deliberate attempt to cut costs at the expense of customers (and false advertising!) four times in a row. A shame.

It is still useful to me
5/5

This probiotic and supplement is fantastic. It relieves tension and anxiety while increasing focus, with no negative side effects that I've noticed. It's been a year since I started taking it, and it's still working for me. To keep my digestive system strong, I cycle by taking primal defense ultra on weekends instead. In case you're wondering, I use the shelf-stable version.
