What a fantastic query! A small amount of lactose, or natural milk sugar, is added to help our live yeast stay stable at room temperature for longer periods of time. As a result, when Florastor's freeze dried probiotic cells are consumed, they are still alive and well in the colon, where they can support GI health. Lactose is not an active ingredient in Florastor probiotics, as we would like to point out. Lactose is present in trace amounts in the live microorganism's manufacturing process. Florastor's active ingredient is a probiotic strain called: I- Saccharomyces boulardii Saccharomyces boulardii I- Saccharomyces boular 745 Florastor can stimulate an increase in lactase, the enzyme that naturally breaks down lactose, in healthy volunteers. With over 50 years of use around the world, there is no evidence of a signal or trend in Florastor lactose-sensitive consumers reporting adverse reactions or side effects. The Florastor Team thanks you for your time and consideration.
Every 250mg of Florastor Daily Probiotic Supplement contains approximately 5 billion CFU, which is a great question. This is the same as taking one capsule. Florastor's Team

For the past year, I've been suffering from stomach problems. Bloating, discomfort, and the sensation that my insides were shaking were all symptoms I was experiencing. I tried a variety of gas pills, such as Prilosec, which helped some but not all of the time. I decided to try probiotics and went with Florastor because many reviewers said it was recommended by their gastroenterologist. br>br>I didn't feel any better for the first few days, with one day of severe bloating and constipation. Everything began to change on the fourth or fifth day. "Oh, I feel normal," I recall thinking as I sat on the couch. " It hit me like a ton of bricks because I realized I'd forgotten what normalcy felt like. br>br>For the past three nights, I've slept exceptionally well, which is unusual for me. I'm only on my fourth day of feeling "normal," but I'm hoping that these pills are the solution. I've been taking two pills twice a day since the beginning of the month. I've placed an order for more and intend to take one pill twice a day to see how things go. br>br>Thank you to all of the reviewers who suggested this product, and thank you, Florastor, for changing my life!.
This product makes me angry because it claims to be suitable for lactose intolerance on the box. And after a few weeks of taking it, I've developed a low-grade fever, flushing, and digestive issues. I decided to read more about the probiotic, and I missed the lactose 32 on the side of the box, which was clearly written on the side of the box. 5mg'. I'm not sure how this is acceptable, but it's certainly made my life difficult! BE AWARE!.
br>br>When you're dealing with a disease like this, you can't help but be superstitious. Because I only have half of it left, this is a product I'm not willing to go without in order to keep my gut in check. br>br>Thank you for creating such a wonderful product; I strongly advise anyone taking antibiotics to take Florastor for the duration of their treatment and for a month afterward.
We all need antibiotics every now and then for various reasons. (Antibiotics also kill the good bacteria in your gut, which can lead to some pretty serious stomach problems. ) ) Florastor is the solution to this issue. You will have no stomach problems if you begin taking it on the first day of your antibiotic treatment and continue for about three days after the antibiotics are finished. This book comes highly recommended. (FYI: It's not recommended that you take it with grapefruit juice. ).

I've had IBS and colitis for over ten years, and it's changed my life. I've tried all of the prescription medications as well as every over-the-counter medication available at the pharmacy, but I've never felt better. I knew it was working after three weeks of use. It's been two months, and I can't imagine my life without it; it's literally changed mine!.
I'm giving it three stars because it solved some problems but may have created new ones. It's fantastic to be able to get rid of something in a short period of time. If you're taking more than one pill per day for a long time, tread carefully. br>br>1. It helped me get rid of my severe IC after two months.
2. Severe headaches, which progressed to chronic headaches on a daily basis, as well as histamine intolerance I'm the proud owner of a Sibo. It's unclear whether this is a separate issue. Now that I've stopped taking them, my symptoms have subsided. I had brain fog before this, but it went away after I stopped eating carbs, as did my hives on my head. So you never know. I was taking one class at the time. Every day, three pills.
I've had the stomach flu twice this year, and after my naturopath recommended them, I've been taking these for about a week afterwards. They appear to help reset things in my stomach and alleviate any lingering digestive issues; they're a little pricey, but well worth it.
