For children, it contains Sucralose as well as other potentially harmful ingredients. My money has been lost.
This seems to be a hit with my daughter so far. I purchased it for her in order to keep her from becoming ill. Because I have an autoimmune disorder and my medications have completely destroyed my immune system, I must remain vigilant at all times. She's been taking it for a week now, and everything appears to be going well. My only complaint, which may be a perk to some, is how incredibly sweet this stuff is. I got it in the hopes that it would help her stomach, as she is constantly having stomach issues. I tried one today just to see what it was like, and I was blown away by how sweet it was. It's similar to a smarty, but even more delicious! While this is beneficial in that it encourages children to eat their vegetables, I dislike it because my daughter now requests multiple servings and doesn't seem to understand that it is not candy. To be honest, I'm undecided about it. Overall, I believe it will be successful; all I have to do now is keep them hidden so that my daughter does not eat them all.
Her menu consists of only 4 to 5 items, which concerns me because I am well aware that this is not a healthy diet! I've tried a million different ways to introduce new things to her, including more than a dozen different vitamins, but she refuses to take them! So, because I adore cultural products, I decided to give this children's vitamin a try! My finicky child adores them and requests them on a daily basis! At the very least, she's taking her vitamins now!.
This vitamin is a big hit with my kids. It's got a candy flavor to it! However, when I examined the vitamin details, I discovered that it does not contain nearly as many as traditional children's vitamins. Iron is the most important component missing from this. Maybe they have it in another type. However, because it is extremely important to me, I have decided to cancel my subscription.
Our child used to have occasional poo issues, but since starting to use Culturelle's products, we haven't had any, and his bowels are regular and healthy. Having said that, I bought the chewables to see how well they would go over. They would not be accepted by my child. As a result, I had to mix these with a liquid (flavored water) in order to administer them. br>br>These can take up to two hours to dissolve completely in room temperature liquid, even after the tablets have broken down into small chunks and bits. Because it takes two hours to prepare the beverage, I recommend doing so at night or when you won't need to use it right away. However, you will notice a difference in your child's poo regularity, so the product isn't a complete waste if you don't mind the extra time it takes to use it in liquid, for those whose children won't accept these as-is. br>br>Another option is to grind the tablets and mix them into a meal or drink.
My daughter is extremely picky about what she eats. She would not try new foods and it was extremely difficult to persuade her to eat vegetables. As a result, she suffered from constipation on a regular basis. br>However, I believe that this probiotics supplement is assisting her greatly. I'm not going to go into too much detail: ) but she's doing better in the bathroom and, hopefully, getting some of the vitamins she's been missing due to her poor eating habits. br>br>Wish there was something magical that would make her eat a variety of healthy foods, but since there isn't, we'll have to settle for the second best option while we continue to try to guide her toward good eating habits.
For over a year, my four and seven-year-old children have consistently preferred this multivitamin/probiotic. They'll just stop taking the other multivitamins I've tried to give them. I wish there were more flora strains available, but I've discovered other probiotics that they tolerate (Jarrow Formulas Yum-O). We have a lot of different strains (Yum Dophilus, Dr. Formulated Probiotics Organic Kids, and RenewLife Ultimate Flora Kids Probiotic, to name a few). I'd also like to mention that we recently received the new lion shape, which was a pleasant surprise; my boys adore it, and the taste remains excellent.
The fact that sucralose is used as an artificial sweetener is the sole reason for my dissatisfaction with this product. I thought everything else about the product was fantastic, but I was very disappointed because my young child loves this vitamin, but we don't use any products that contain sucralose in any form, and I'm sorry that I didn't notice this ingredient before purchasing. I would not recommend this product and would not buy it again.
