This brand was new to me this week, and I didn't care for it at all. This sand texture was not present in the previous two brands I owned. I made low-carb bread, but I'm unable to consume it. This brand is great for erytrithol, but not so much for psyllium.
Yes, that is correct. Low-carb breading is made with pork rinds. It has a great taste and function.
3 grams of fiber in one teaspoon
USDA organic certification is also available.

Okay, this is a little personal, but I hope it will be of assistance to someone else. Constipation has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. No amount of water, dietary changes, or exercise seems to have made a difference. THIS IS THE CASE. I stick to the instructions and, thank God, there are no more problems!!.
I'll assume you understand what I mean when I say "it works" for the purposes of this review. " In any case,br>br>This product is very effective; I take a level teaspoon (well, not quite level, but not heaping) once in the morning and once before bed, and I stay regular. So far, this product has proven to be more effective than the other psyllium supplements I've tried from Amazon. br>br>While whole psyllium husks are acceptable, the powder (this product) is superior in terms of regularity (at least in my system). br>br>Psyllium capsules had no effect on me. They appeared to be ideal for convenience (no need to mix them with liquid; simply swallow them), but they were completely ineffective. br>br>Metamucil is slightly easier to drink than this product because it dissolves more easily in water and has a better taste due to the sugar. However, per ounce, it costs more. Plus, this product is superior in terms of effectiveness. br>br>I see some people complaining about their inability to swallow this product due to the taste; I'm not going to judge them, but if you can man up, it won't bother you.
I'd never heard of Psyllium husk powder being used in baking before, but I decided to give it a shot. Was I taken aback! It turns out to be a delicious loaf of bread. The recipe can be used to make hot dog or hamburger buns, as well as dinner buns, and I'm currently using it to make a flat bread that I'll split into sandwich slices. It has a soft bread-like texture to it. I think it's too soft to bake in a loaf pan and slice because it needs the crust to provide the stability a sandwich requires. Anyway, the bread has a purplish cast to it, which I discovered. After doing some research, I discovered that this is a common problem with some psyllium husk powder brands. That's why I only gave it four out of five stars.
It will not dissolve in water! This was purchased to replace Metamucil because Metamucil is far too sweet, and the orange flavor is overpowering. When I try to mix it into water to drink it, it forms insoluble clumps and clods. br>br>I had the same problem with this product as some others. br>br> I've tried warm water, cold water, mixing the powder with water, and mixing the water with the powder. As soon as I combine the ingredients with water, I vigorously stir. However, I end up with large clumps of gummy substance that refuse to dissolve or mix with water. I tried using the back of a spoon to break up the clumps, but they just slid away. I used the back of a fork as a substitute for a knife. They shrink in size from time to time, but they never mix with liquid. br>br>So, if you're looking for a fiber supplement that you can drink, this isn't it. Perhaps it's meant to be used for baking rather than mixing (?). But, if that's the case, it's something I didn't notice in the description. In fact, it is stated in the description. "Add 1- 2 tsp to a full glass of water, smoothies, and more "If there is a way to mix it, I'm not sure what it is!" Disappointing. br>br> I guess I'll have to go back to Trader Joe's to get some unsweetened psyllium.
That's not true. Those cute millenials who wrote clickbait articles about eating Chipotle every day for two years have nothing on me. I'm pretty sure I put up eight twenty-dollar bills. Since 2012, I've been doing something in college. Needless to say, my bathroom visits were lengthy, inconvenient, and necessitated the use of a full roll of toilet paper. Every morning, a teaspoon of this has completely changed my life. br>br>I'm trying to eat healthier and am currently on a keto diet, but even eating better makes a number two visit feel like a number one. I'm out like a toll road booth after three wipes. When mixing this stuff, here's a pro tip: Take your 8-minute break. 2 spoons and a 10-ounce cup of water The first spoon holds the powder, while the second is used to break off 1/8th of a teaspoon of powder into the water and vigorously stir it in. Repeat the process of taking small bits of the powder until it is fully mixed after the big lumps have been removed. This method takes a few minutes, but simply dumping everything in there will result in lumpy gravy. Taking a grape-sized piece of semi-solid food and swallowing it For an hour, dry powder will make you feel uneasy and make you pick at your teeth.
It doesn't have the most appealing name, but that aside, I use it frequently in my baking. br>br>For many special, modified diets, this is critical. I follow a Ketogenic diet, which has helped me turn my low-fat diet into a high-fat diet. Experiments in carb baking have gone from failures to successes. br>br>As for Anthony's as a brand, it's fantastic. I don't make an effort to purchase organic products. In fact, because of the higher cost of organic foods, I frequently avoid them. However, I switched to Anthony's a year ago because their prices are so low, and I have yet to find a more dependable and affordable source for specialty ingredients such as almond flour and coconut flour.
Inside the bag, there was a scrap of paper. This is a cross-section of the material Contaminated territory In addition, the powder is so fine that it is inhaled in small particles. I'm having trouble breathing right now because some particles have gotten into the air and into my lungs. I've used phyllum husk before and have never had these two issues.
It's a good deal for the amount of product you get, and it's less expensive than NOW and other brands. If you're making keto breads, the only drawback is that it's not dishwasher safe. It does turn a purplish color when baked goods are present, but that is the only flaw. Aside from that, it's fantastic; I'll buy it again.
