Is this going to be delivered frozen?

They only need to be refrigerated once they've been opened. They don't need to be refrigerated as long as they're sealed.

Is it possible to use this as a starter for yogurt?

In place of yogurt, I use it.

Do you have any v- caps? Is it possible to disassemble them and pour the contents out? Is it a solid capsule, or is it a liquid one? Large vitamins are difficult for me to swallow. ?

Caps made of gelatin. There are no single solids capsules in these capsules. I can see the indentations where it's put together, but that's not going to happen if you're trying to preserve the capsule. It's not easy to dismantle, and even if you do, it'll take time and effort. If you want to remove the powder and place it in a v-shaped container, follow these steps. You can easily cut one end (or in half, depending on your preference) and transfer the powder to the capsule of your choice. It would still be a lot of work, in my opinion, simply because of the number of capsules you'd be transferring, but it's worth it if you're not comfortable ingesting gelatin (which, for those of you who don't know, contains pork). If you don't want to go through all of that trouble, the same company also sells a v-shaped version of the same formula. caps.

Is there any sugar in this product?

It doesn't, but it's suggested that you combine it with sugar or another type of food that the acidophilus can use to help the bacteria grow, which is what you want.

They are effective

I'm not usually one to write product reviews, but I felt compelled to give this one a rating and tell everyone how fantastic it is. I've been looking for something to help us ladies maintain a healthy balance, and this is definitely the product for us. I take 3 a Day on an empty stomach first thing in the morning and it keeps me perfectly balanced. I was infected after infection because any antibiotic I took threw my system out of whack and caused more infections. I haven't had a single infection since I started taking these. This is a product that I strongly suggest.

I was getting severe yeast infections almost every month, and I was on antibiotics every time. Since starting this probiotic three years ago, I haven't had a yeast infection, even while on antibiotics. Anyone who suffers from chronic yeast infections should give it a try at the very least!.

Acidophilus from NOW has helped me with my IBS Stomach issues

So I started taking this Probiotic because I was on antibiotics at the time and wanted to reintroduce the good bacteria in my gut. I noticed right away that not only was I not experiencing any stomach discomfort as a result of my antibiotics, but that my gut was also feeling great. Because I suffer from irritable bowel syndrome (IBS), I continue to take this supplement just before lunch and just before dinner. My IBS is much better now, and I'm in great shape. br>br>In my experience, the NOW Acidophilus Two Billion, 250 Capsules has been effective, and the price is reasonable. I started taking diflucan, but after a few weeks, my symptoms returned. I figured I'd try it out. It appears to be working for me! I was a little hesitant because I'd never tried anything else than Monistat (years ago). This went on for a few nights. I felt completely normal once more.

After two months, it gave me stomach cramps

For a respiratory problem, I'm on strong antibiotics. My doctor recommended that I take a probiotic every day to replace the good bacteria that the antibiotics had destroyed. My doctor likes these probiotics because they have a high number of active organisms. The capsules have no taste and are simple to swallow. They don't seem to be having any negative effects on me, so they're working. br>br>According to the label and Amazon information, these must be refrigerated to keep the organisms alive, and the price is also reasonable. *** UPDATE **

I purchased a 250-count bottle of this supplement. "1 capsule 1 to 4 times daily between meals or on an empty stomach," the label instructed. " I took one capsule on an empty stomach once a day. br>br>At the start of the third month, I began to suffer from severe stomach cramps. Every prescription and supplement I take is recorded on a daily basis in my journal. The "NOW Supplements, Acidophilus" was the only thing I changed about my diet, Rx, or supplement regimen. br>br>I took a three-week break from taking these. Within three days, the stomach cramps had subsided. After three weeks, I resumed taking these, one capsule once daily on an empty stomach, as I had done previously. I started having terrible stomach cramps again at the start of the third month. br>br>I stopped taking them again after three days, and the stomach cramps went away. After waiting a few weeks, I switched to a different Acidophilus Probiotic and haven't had any stomach cramps since.

Constipation relief is a huge plus

I believe this is an excessively high dose for me. It's the most effective treatment for constipation I've tried, but I can't take it on a daily basis or I'll get diarrhea. Constant stomach cramping is another side effect. Strangely, it helps my stomach if I take it with yogurt, but I wanted a probiotic that I could take every day for immune health.

Acidophilus comes at a great price and is a good size

Acidophilus is available at a great price. This is not the first time I've been pleased with the Now brand. I was surprised to see milk listed as an ingredient, especially since I'm lactose intolerant, but it didn't seem to bother my stomach at all, so it could just be a flavor enhancer. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for probiotics in pill form at a reasonable price; however, if you have a dairy intolerance, proceed with caution; it was fine for me, but I may have a higher tolerance for dairy intolerance than others.
