The supplement facts on my bag do not match what is advertised. There is no mention of Collagen I or III. Due to the lack of transparency and fraud, I will not be placing another order. It's referred to as a social media support line, but it's actually an order line rather than a product dispute or help line. 2/11/21
Please don't pity yourself. It has a foul smell. When I first tried it with water, cow hoof, and fingernail filings, I had the same reaction as you did. To make it drinkable, I mixed it with grape juice, and when I poured it into a shaker, it foamed up like a beer, with the biggest head I'd ever seen. When I stirred it, there was no head, but it clumped up pretty well. I couldn't drink it until I stirred it and broke up the clumps.
It's a shame it's not available as a pill without vitamin C. Interstitial cystitis prevents me from taking vitamin C supplements.

So, I've been taking this for almost two months and have discovered that I still have a lot of it left. It says 41 servings on the container, and I've been eating it every day for almost two months, so it should be finished. So I used my food scale to weigh out the scoop. According to the label on the container, ONE SCOOP (11 g) is the serving size. It's only 4 GRAMS, according to my scale! So I've been taking 1/3 of a serving size for two months and haven't seen any changes. I read a lot of reviews and carefully selected which collagen to purchase, and I haven't seen anyone else complain about this, so I'm not sure if I was just unlucky, but double-check if you buy it.
I rarely, if ever, write reviews, so the fact that I am writing this one indicates that I am extremely pleased with the outcome. I've been using the Collagen Peptides for about a month and have noticed a noticeable difference in my skin. I contacted the company and the lady was unable to answer any of my questions about the amount of collagen in the product, despite the fact that I am a registered nurse who had the product lab tested. The outcomes were precisely what I had predicted. There was no collagen in the mix, and the amino acid profile was almost non-existent. Both packages were returned to Amazon, and I was given a refund. This product has a lot of FALSE advertising, and I've reported it to Amazon. Stop using this product and look for one that you can research to ensure you're getting what you think you're getting. PURCHASING THIS PRODUCT WAS AN EXTREMELY BAD IDEA ON MY PART. Vital Protein is the brand I'm going to stick with.
For the past week and a half, I've been taking this. My skin feels smoother and softer, and my hair isn't shedding nearly as much as it used to! Every day, I've added a cup of tea to the mix. In warm or hot water, it dissolves quickly. I let it sit for a minute to make sure it was fully dissolved. There are no changes in flavor or texture. In cool or cold drinks, it takes a little longer to dissolve/blend (I haven't tried it in smoothies yet, but will at some point), but once it does, the results are consistent with the above. As I previously stated, I have only recently begun to use it, so I cannot comment on its effectiveness. I'm hoping to see the results of my use after 30 to 45 days. After doing some research, I discovered that this collagen was the most "natural" bovine grass fed product, with peptides that are within the recommended daily intake guidelines and excellent reviews. I'm hoping to see a difference in my hair, skin, and nails as a result of this treatment.
