How do I determine what type of glucosamine this is?

The compound Glucosamine Potassium Sulfate Complex contains 1,500 mg of Glucosamine Sulfate.

What about cats? Is this product available for them as well?

For cats, they make supplements that are similar to these. Cosequin or Dasuquin for cats seem to be the best choices. A cat with these symptoms would need to take a higher dosage. In the end, I pilled a cat with Dasuquin for more than a year as a last-ditch attempt to make her comfortable. It seemed to work for her and she became comfortable In addition to being sprinkled on food, you can open up the capsule.

Are these made in the United States?

In an empty bottle I have from a few years ago, it does not say "made in the USA". However, it does list the NOW foods address in Illinois and a statement that "produced in a GMP facility that also processes other ingredients containing these allergens". (There is a list of ingredients that are not used in the manufacture of this product. Since I consume wheat, gluten, etc., I currently use the Vitamin Shoppe brand, which also does not state "made in the USA" but lists the company's address in New Jersey.

In some capsules, fish, beef, and chicken gelatin is used. In others, pork or horse gelatin is used. ?

The capsules I use do not contain gelatin, so I am not sure how it was derived.

This is a very high quality supplement that's also very reasonable in price. When I was a distance runner for many years (distance), I started taking this daily (not this brand), but after I tore my ACL (I chose an ACL allograft), I never really got back into it, and stopped taking specific supplements During the pandemic, my knees began to ache terribly since I had gained so much weight in the past few years. My "good" knee is affected as well. The idea of taking ibuprofen daily is not appealing to me, and even then, it only lasts a short while. *I have been taking two of these each morning for *3 weeks now and they are really working for me! It has made a great deal of difference. I mean it. Within a week of starting the treatment, I noticed a difference in my knee pain and discomfort. I am mostly comfortable and pain-free While I still exercise most days, even just walking twice a day, and eat healthier and pay attention to my diet, weight loss has been a side effect of my efforts (I still have a lot more to do)- I have made other efforts as well. Those supplements are what you need. In addition to supplements for different reasons, I have seen the benefits and effectiveness from these more than anything else I have ever taken. In the event of discomfort or pain, I need nothing more. I am truly amazed.

The Ocular Pressure of some may be a concern! In less than an hour after taking it, I noticed my knees feeling better

I also suffered prickly pain in my eyes as a result of it. There is no doubt that it can increase eye pressure and lead to glaucoma in some people. It would be great if I could find an alternative to glucosamine that doesn't I found it to be effective at relieving pain.

The combination I use for arthritis works for both my dogs and me. As a result, I have found that I am more comfortable using the sulfate type of glucosamine Having taken it for several years, I have now reduced it to one capsule per day since I have been taking it for so long. My veterinarian recommended glucamine and MSM, so I have also started the dogs on this one. I have come to trust NOW products as Consumer Report as well as Consumer Lab have confirmed that their products contain all the amount of substances that are listed on the labels.

The wrong labeling of products The animal is not In big, bold letters on the front it says "180 Vegetarian capsules", but if that is just a reference to the capsule shell I'm not sure why they bother

I have been using this product As a consequence, I no longer have joint pain, and I'm much more diligent about keeping fit and lessening the number of harmful chemicals I put on my body. As a result, I only experience mild joint pain in my left knee and Yoga and acupuncture can help you achieve total wellness. While climbing the stairs, I could hear my joints creaking and popping. After a few weeks of taking NOW Glucosamine and MSM, there is a measurable improvement.
