The formula works without chondroitin, or does it require it?

The reason I've never used chondroitin formulas is that they contain shellfish, which I do not consume. As far as I know, it is the only formula I have ever used, and it has been very helpful. In the past month that I have used this item, I have not again suffered from painful bouts related to my arthritis knees The event occurred and I have been able to go up and down stairs normally since.

All of the products in this line are corn-free. It was stated that vegetarian glucosamine is derived from corn in one answer. A clarification would be helpful. ?

Several vegan glucosamine supplements sold on the market are fermented corn and wheat products. The NOW product line contains glucosamine-based products as well as products that list corn as a possible As it is, if that were so, then clearly stated on the bottle would read " The product contains no added substances whatsoever no additives are used." Corn from a GMO The NOW will state this boldly if the case is such. There is no mention of that disclaimer on the product being sold here. The product is free of corn, I can assure you.

The capsules can be opened and the contents diluted with water or juice. Pills can be cut or crushed to the desired size and can be split or crushed to the desired size. This may be of some help. Glucosamine was prescribed by our vet for our older cat to help him with his arthritis, and to my surprise, he began walking more comfortably and jumping again, so I decided to try it As a vegetarian, I was looking for a recipe that did not contain shells, so I tried this. The system does help, and my hips don't hurt anymore when I go to bed, so I can fall asleep more easily. In addition to sitting longer on my exercise bike because of less to no hip pain, I am also enjoying water aerobics. Even though it didn't completely relieve the pain, if I had to quantify, I would say it took away 70% of the pain, and this is something I am quite satisfied with.

My goal was to find a vegan source for joint/pain relief. However, this product does not fit the bill. In the beginning, I took it once a day with no effect, but after taking it over the next few weeks, and gradually adding a second and third dose, I began to get a rash I was completely clear of the rash two days after I stopped using this product. A very disappointing experience from beginning to end!.
