Glucosamine was recommended to me by an osteopath, who encouraged me to take it in the form of HCl powder and take at least 1500 mg per day. Due to the fact that I have taken it in water, I know that I prefer its flavor to be masking. But, in a pinch, I'll take it sooner rather than later, if I have to use water. Secondly, I buy a few inexpensive small measuring spoon sets in order to make measuring as easy as possible. I keep my spoon in the bag so I can use it right away since I want to make sure my daily habit won't be disrupted. The resealable pouch saves me from having to read my package every day or go to the store to get a spoon. I simply use the spoon I keep in there.
